Looks good, runs at a constant 60, controls perfectly once I adjusted the keys to the ones RE1-3 PC ports used (ZXCV). Job well done.

It's not even "their" fault, not entirely at least.  Capcom is the one to blame here, for having completely destroyed something that was close to perfection replacing it with Resident Ebola shooters, Raccoon City disasters, Quick Time Event simulators (the more the merrier), gaining this new audience of brofist couch gamers and alienating the old ones.
Now that you put such target audience in front of something so old-school, those comments are inevitable. The damage is already done *

And it's the old fans this was made for and released on PC in the first place I'd guess, so they can fuck right off. I'm thankful for it and picked it up.
Especially since, being German, I didn't have to figure out how to circumvent all that censorship hoopla like I had to back in the day with the PSX versions. (Yes, I'm aware that this is the GC version)

Yeah no kidding, its sad really. RE4 was still actually pretty good though id say considering how different it was, but everything after that went down hill hard.

Yup! Exactly. It was an experiment done right (very rare to witness), something that was needed but..should have stayed separated from the classic RE games. Ironically it gave the coup de grace to the entire franchise without even knowing it xD
