Haven't used newsbin in a while .... Is it still a resource hog with a large # of headers?

It's a machine crashing experience. Although I never bother with headers now.
I find newsleecher so much more friendly since I just recently moved over to it.

That's why I stopped using it I don't find it as good for nzb files and getting headers from any group freezes it up |
wtf... you must limit it to 2000000 headers... than it should go fine

I only find newsibn a strain if I leave it to load a huge spool after downloading a lot. In that case it's just a simple close app > reload. Takes no more than 10 seconds

like I said I have no problem downloading 1,000,000 headers. Its when I download a film and leave it idle for a few hours (with a 500,000 spool loaded) I then proceed to clear the search bar (wrong time to do it usually) and then I will 'download latest' from another 'main' group. Sometimes the lag can be a few minutes sometimes seconds. I usually just close it and start again anyway. I've also grown too used to the layout and workings of newsbin to actually like newsleecher.
