I wonder if "Hong Kong" is a placeholder title. They could've come up with something more interesting than a city name.

Why are Elves considered more charismatic than Humans in the Shadowrun universe (as evidenced by the lower perk selection for Humans)?
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Elves have been considered more charismatic than humans since the dawn of D&D. This has carried over to pretty much every game since and is nothing new.
They're lithe, graceful, intelligent, and live far longer lives. They've got time to mince words and schmooze.
Humans are greedy, egotistical, and brash, no doubt due to their far shorter lifespans.

Oh yeah, you're right. In older D&D titles Humans never had a bonus for anything but neither did they have any weakness. They were the balanced/starter race.
Memories of old D&D titles have started fading away
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I really hope they take their time and bring us something more substantial.

PC Only Release
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is being developed for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems only. We have elected to focus all our efforts on PC in order to deliver the best game we can without the current processing and memory limitations of tablets. This focus allows us to have higher-fidelity visuals, larger map sizes, and more stuff on screen.
But not really feeling the rest for some reason
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I'm hating sabin right now for making me curious enough to read the Shadowrun novels (found quite a few to a local library and some for sale in an old books store). My poor free time is down the drain....Hopefully, i will manage to get my hands on the other 22 missing novels.

Woohooo!! Backed and they're up to $55k already.. haha, halfway there in the first hour August 2015 though, which means (given the industry standard delay "sorry, sorry, please understand, thank you for your patience, for your own good, sorry, trust us") more like December 2015. Not keen on that, let's hope the campaign is *significantly* larger than Dragonfall then.
@blackdochia
Haha, you're welcome They're great no?

It's stated that the campaign is 10-12 hours long. So about the same as Dragonfall..
1 and 2 are still amazing.

In that case I simply don't understand why it's going to take a YEAR to put it out (since they claim they're already several months into development). Still, I guess we'll see, but if they delay this I'm going to be mightily pissed.

You are a truly evil person. And, yeah, they are great. Started with Never Deal with a Dragon and i'm really loving the writing. Reminds me a lot of Gibson.
