I for one absolutely love the Supra, i'm in love with it, a fire-orange supra shining in the night, its mad sexy ass, its amazing.
And i know that its not the BEST car to corner with, i know its not the BEST car to drag race in, but why would i care? Because i LOVE that car, and i LOVE it for what it IS..
Not what my childish self would pretend it is to make me seem "cooler" because i like the "best" car... Grow up! Like whatever u wanna like, but dont make it something its not.
Just realise that most American cars are best in drag racing instead of actual cornering, that its the opposite for most asian cars, just realise that and be happy for that.
And dont give me any shit like "i saw a supra owning the dragstrip against a f1"
Because i can take an old Volvo and if i spend enugh time on it it'll outrun an Enzo, so dont even start on that, you can make any car into any other car.
Dont act like a little kid who wants EVERYTHING. Because american cars never have, and never will be best at everything at once. Same as any other car. Deal with it kids.

Yep, they make damn good rally machines. Of course, I don't see many Japanese teams winning Le Mans or F1 races, but hey. Different machines for different purposes.

Er, no? The differential is the set of gears that translates the engine's power to the tires. It also allows the inside tire to turn slower than the outside tire around a corner. Even a locker or limited slip won't keep you from spinning the tires if you've got enough power. I guess you're talking about some sort of electronic traction control setup, but the same can be achieved with some experience and proper throttle application.

Yep, ABS is nice (except on loose stuff). I'm not sure what american cars you are looking at that don't have ABS, though. Even the $10000 shitbox cars are coming with it these days. Hell, the last two motorcycles I bought even came with ABS.

This has got to be the dumbest thing I've read all day. If you can't "tune" a carburetor, what do you suppose those removable jets and needles are for? Shits and giggles? People have been "tuning" their cars long before EFI and thousand dollar FAST systems came about. Carbs are nice because they are so cheap and simple to set up.
That said, I haven't seen any recent cars with carbs, either. Where the hell do you live where they still make carbed cars?

Looks are always gonna be a matter of taste.
Of course these days when Ford owns Mazda and Volvo, while Daimler-Chrysler has part of Mitsu, Mercedes, etc.; I'd say there's no such thing as an American or Japanese car anymore.
Oh yea, and the game looks cool too.

You can´t call yourself a car enthusiast/fan/whatever wehn you take sides imo. I love cars, ALL cars, and i love them for what they are! I like american V-8´s with massive torque, i also love japanese fourbangers and inline 6´s. I LOVE TURBOCHARGERS AND SUPERCHARGERS and i love NA-aspirated cars, like the Lamborghini Murcielago, or the Ferrari 360 Modena! FANBOYS, GOD DAMMIT GROW UP!
And btw planters, ofcourse a Saleen S7 would do better, but hey, $375.000...come on, you get what you pay for! I´d like to see a Skyline (for example) with $300.000 spent on it race a S7..

Umm, European cars own the Le Mans races...maybe that was you point..my point was that it´s not american cars anyway.
Eurpoe also owns the F1-scene.

the game looks awsome, good choice of cars... although i haven't read much about the game, i wonder if its free roaming city... (dont think so)
