you also got to think most of those pictures are taken in different periods of there life so the Rene picture she is a little more fatter for her non makeup pix while she is probably in her thin as a rail mode for the second one. Alicia Silverstone looks like a ten year seperation from the "non makeup" picture and the studio photo. The Britney Spears with her brown hair is when she finally got into her true trailer trash phase while the other picture was when she was actually sorta cute. I can also go all day about lighting is great at hiding bad features blah blah blah. No one is perfect so what do you want? Do you want all famous people to be ugly all the time so you can feel better about how ugly you are?

All I know is I NEVER had a rash like that on my face. It's not that hard to NOT touch your face all the time and rub all those bacteria into your skin, nor is it hard to wash it every now and then and use some purifying aftershave (they can do it while shaving their upper lip too) Very Happy

I see a pizzaface I think of disgusting greasy pigs like the fat chicks back in highschool. If their face is oozing pus and blood, what is their business end oozing... :barfsmilie:

How am i holding on to the illusion? Chicks can look excellent and sometimes look like shit some of those good pictures were undoctured paparazzi photo's and they looked damn sexy. Actually it depends, define perfection? yea thought so.

Its impossible, everyones idea of perfect is different but when the media purposely portray the perfect being (in most people ideals) all the time an illusion is cast as if the lesser individuals have to dream to look as good as some celebs all the time.

Thus its always a welcome to see them as they are, mere ordinary looking individuals who just get paid undeservedly more than you and me and who will probably live longer and enjoy life more...sad.

Really it's amazing what modern make up artists and good lighting can do for someones ppearance. I don't know if any of you guys know who 'Girls aloud' are (some small time all girl band in the uk) but they all look extremely hot in their videos. Well I saw before pics of them, and they look so normal. I was amazed at the difference.

If its nothing to do with hygiene then how does a steaming hot cloth or alcohol cure it. Why dont kids or adults generally get it (hormone overdose and greasy skin). Why is it that cultures with certain diets have virtually NO acne while the same race gets instant pizzaface when they move to the west. Why is it that eating certain sweets like chocolate make people who rarely have acne burst out into a bloody mess. Why does washing and keeping your skin dry help to prevent it. Why does it migrate on your skin from one follicle to another.

It's easy to just walk around with your face oozing blood and say it has nothing to do with what you do or how you live.

Let me give you examples of what is NOT your fault.

- Herpes simplex 1: you can get it from your mothers first kiss. 80% of the population carry it and the rest just dont get symptoms. You can infect your own or your partner's genitalia with it aswell.
- Demodicids: tiny worms that live and breed on your eyelashes eating dead skin, eye secretion and the dead corpses of eachother. Courtesy of the first person to touch their face and then touch yours.

Health problems are often a result of our culture, habits or ekology. So the ignorance, I fear, might be the other way around.

But tell a smoker he'll get cancer. Tell a fat girl she doesnt look so good and might get diabetes or that the paramedics need a forklift to cart her in. Tell a guy with the most disgusting BO and pizzaface he might want to take a shower; get pwnd by the magic word "foo!"
