Seems like some troubles with your ISP or router. Have you tried restarting it?

Will try that now.
I can goto the IpAddress 178.236.7.220 which is amazon.co.uk and it works.
But cannot goto amazon.co.uk.

Seriously ?
Confusing.

Im kinda stupid when it comes to the Internet, I mean yeh I can surf and find stuff but thats about it Sad

I checked the hosts file its empty.

I mean why can I use amazon.co.uk IF I use their IPaddress ?
178.236.7.220 I can use amazon.co.uk.

But when I try to use the www.amazon.co.uk I get "server not found"

All of a sudden this started a few days ago.

@PumpAction
Yes I tried that as well, thanks but didnt help for some reason Sad

glad to help!
it should not change anything as far as I know...but for me when I tried it google dns made browsing a little bit slower, so I eventually changed it back to my isp's
I had a simlar problem with mostly american sites not resolving correctly, but the isp fixed it after a couple of days.

Have you looked at your ISP tech forums to see if anyone else is having the same problems? Maybe there are DNS troubles that others are having also?, maybe not, but best to check that out first before fiddling with hardware.
