Blame Ubisoft for Assassins Creed being shit, not Sony and Microsoft. Even if it was only on PC it would probably be the same game.
Personally I don't think they're great but I don't think they're bad either. I'm actually enjoying Unity and after all the updates don't seem to be having hardly any issues with it. And the co-op missions are pretty fun.

never got to play this game , thinking of buying it (good deal) for the ps4 is it a total disaster performance wise with the latest patch ?

+1, the game plays better now and is much closer to 30fps than 20fps now.
