Yeah but this is the game people want to whinge about right now.
It will be interesting when Witcher 3 comes out. If people have wasted their best whines on dragon age inquisition they will be stuffed and will deserve to be considered cheap plagiarists if they recycle Inquisition bitching when critiquing Wild Hunt...
Mind you, most of the complaints about this game are pretty meh anyway. The level of pissed-offness about this game's technical failings are fine -we have a right to expect a fully functioning game for the amount Eternal Assholery charges for DA:I, but the complaints viz gameplay and dialogue are as clichéd as the game.
Surely we know the EA/Bioware formulaic approach to gaming already - why would anyone imagine EA would move from the lowest common denominator approach which has already made them kazillions?

Started playing last night, asked my wife to do my female elf character - i don't have the patience to do something nice. Reached through Haven, DLC items were there, all good.
I love the game so far, can't wait to get home to play it again.

It's unlikely you'll see a Keep emulator, and the save format has only had preliminary decoding as of yet.

Don't do any sidequests unless you need power.

They are poorly written and provide no reward.
Basically there are several types of quests in this game:
1. Main plot quests. These are the ones that got the most attention - they usually have unique locations, cutscenes, lots of dialogues.
2. Companion Quests. These sometimes have unique locations albeit they are usually small or take place in one of the mmo zones. Cutscenes and lots of dialogues.
3. Major Zone Quests. These are what could be considered the main sidequest in a certain location. Like the Dwarven Tombs in the Hissing Wastes or the Red Templar Operation in Emprise.
These have much less dialogue and no cutscenes. Some of them are quite fun and well-written if you read the codex entries.
4. Side-quests - usually simple fetch/kill/bring quests with some flavour text
5. MMO poop - Requisitions/Collect x/Landmarks.
You should just decide on a cut-off line. I started doing everything but quickly settled on 2-3.

well, i like exploring anyway, so solving a shit quest in vecinity is not a big deal anyway.
i lose more time by backtracking my steps making sure i'm not missing anything vs completing shit quests. i like how they made the world.
