Sold an item about an month ago and look who decided to open a case again me!

Quote:
Here's what the buyer said:
Buyer requested:A refund
Comments:I ended up never receiving the item. I understand that it says it was delivered but it was not, I checked shortly after it says it was delivered (I also had another package come from a different delivering company that arrived around the same time with no problems). I d greatly prefer the item if possible, but a refund seems more likely.

Even to the tracking number shows as "Delivered", I bet fucking PayPal will side with that assholes ^_^. I did responded with "Add Tracking Details" Laughing Laughing Laughing

At least the item was worth $3+ and $15 for shipping.

It's kinda pathetic to open a case a month after the tracking number says it was delivered and suddenly person never received it. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Serves me right for using Ebay. Crying or Very sad Laughing Sad Laughing

If it says delivered, then it's up to him to deal with the post office or courier, not you, since it's a local issue. But I don't believe him for a sec. It's possible a package gets delivered to the wrong address but would you really wait that long to notice when you get a tracking number?

to be fair, ups and others deliver packages to whothefuckever wants to receive them.
i'be had packages delivered to random addresses and signed for by people completely different from me
then i get a 'delivered' notification and have to scramble to call and find where the fuck they delivered it
but opening a case against you? that's bullshit

You have the proof it was delivered, he has none. He won't get any refund, besides, he's left it far too long to complain.

I love and hate ebay, I've had a similar experience. As long as the tracking shows "delivered" you are safe. Next time, require a signature upon delivery to be 100% safe Wink

Bought iPhone from Italy (ebay) some years back, never received it, seller did have tracking nr, but the item never left Italy to my country..paypal did not help me in any way, and i was forced to make a chargeback. They basically said "seller have tracking number, so we don't give a fuck if you got it or not" even the tracking nr clearly said it never left Italy or arrived in my country.
Shipping company told me seller should contact them, but he never did.

Maybe they are more buyer friendly know, i don't know...

In my experience Ebay helps the buyer more often than not. I've been refunded a few times.

But then you could just send an empty box, or a box with a brick inside it.

how do you know that the buyer dint replace the content with a potato ? Smile.

dont know, every time i sent something i videotape the whole process, same thing when i receive something. not only from ebay, i get more trouble from our local shops.
one time a local shop deliberatley hit a hdd (doa), claiming that i did that, to not return money/replace it.
unfortunatley (for them) i had video and the curier signed that the hdd was in top shape, no damage visible, great packed in bubble warp and air filled bags when i send it. so i filled a police report, reclaiming that they destroyed my property. they begged me to drop that complain, i dint want to, and police anally raped them. i got my money back, they got a huge fine and a lot of legal trouble.
