Is this a bugged quest?

No, it's not bugged. You have to fully loot a specific container for the quest to complete. It's up on the ledge. I think it's a wooden box from memory. If you don't take every piece of useless crap out of the container, the quest won't complete.

Btw is it normal that my party is always under leveled compared to the enemies? Everybody in my party is lvl 5 but I am fighting enemies who are lvl 8 or even level 12 Confused I am completionist so I am not missing any quest and I am still under leveled. Wtf?

Yes it's normal. You are meant to leave the Hinterlands and come back later for those.

Ah ok then mate. I bet the specific quest item is that crap dagger that I didn't even bothered taking to sell it later Laughing

Yeah I already did a few back and forths but I am still under leveled. The game is not that bad though. Its casual for sure, but for now its not that bad. I don't like the battlefield like resupplying of potions and the automatic points leveling up.

Now that denuvo's actually no longer uncrackable, is there any tangible performance gains from the version without ?

Didn't have any issues with the retail one myself ( didn't update it yet )

You can say what you want against the game itself, the dumbed down RPG mechanics and generic quests and so on... but performance-wise this is a blast in my opinion. Even on my old rig with Phenom II and ati 7950 this is running so incredibly well, I almost cant believe that its possible to run it in 2560x1440 completely without stuttering. I cant do that with any other actual game. Obviously they worked hard on the optimization.
For Far Cry 4 and AC-Unity I have to go down below fullHD to make it running with more than 30fps. Look at this, Ubisoft.... Razz

You have to put it into the 3dmgame.ini.

Code:
[Settings]
ExeName=DragonAgeInquisition.exe -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel Ultra

I have to add you on DA keep website and share my world state with you.

In the game when you start it, you have to select my world state to create a game and then a few tweaks to the default character face (hair color, voice - nothing major) and after a save is created at the start.

Then upload save game from %USERPROFILE%\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save to any filehost Very Happy

1 and 2 are still amazing.

I'm holding off playing until the Cheat Engine hacks have been updated. I'd advise everyone to only play it with these hacks since they seriously improve the camera distance + you can change the FOV. Combined you have a much better view of the battlefield.

The patch has changed one annoying thing at least: the camera no longer jumps to the character you select - that was annoying as FUCK when you tried to attack an enemy since you kept having to scroll.

Completely fine. The only online "features" to think about would be the Keep and multiplayer, one is only needed if you absolutely definitely want your own customised DA/DA2 stories to continue, the second is utterly worthless and should be scrapped because multiplayer is crap Cool Face

Well, played for 5 hours, and already bored to death. The "quests" are just busy work and walking, there are pages and pages of infodumps filled with names and factions that are confusing as fuck (I guess you're supposed to have played the first two games to make sense of it, fair enough...) and the combat consists of holding down RT while pointing at the enemies with the camera.

Just out of curiosity (since I'm probably never gonna finish the first area, let alone the whole game) how many other "zones" are there in the game besides the Hinterlands?

And more importantly... where's my Lords of the Fallen crack?

Ok, thanks. So Dragon age 2 did nothing for inquisition? I'm suffering through the second game atm, but had to take a break this weekend for known reasons. I'm only played it because i figured that even though the gameplay is horrid, the story is actually good, and will enrich the third game.

Just a few passing mentions of the plot that unfolded, and a customised Hawke, that's pretty much it. I spent an hour going through the Keep and creating a perfect tapestry that matched my experiences in DAO/DA2 (well, mostly, some options "apparently" conflict, like if you have Alistair on the throne with his queen, that means the Warden sacrificed themselves in the final battle, which is bullshit) yet I've not seen any significant interactions in DAI other than offhand comments in history.

Then the most important question. Looking aside from gameplay, graphics and locations, is the story of DA2 worth it in the end? I'm a while in chapter 2 atm, and i would like to finish it, but not if the ending is shit and does nothing for inquisition.

Yeah the things that are the most noticable are the Alister/Loghain decisions and Hawke's appearance. Everything else is mostly passing remarks, codex entries and War Room missions.

DA2 story is fine - i would say it is probably the best in the series - but you don't get to influence the main outcome much - just some personal stories and stuff. The only thing is that you get to meet the main

of DAI in the DA2 DLC.

Well the choice between Templars or Mages affects the entire world of Inquisition, but since I chose Mages in both games then I don't know what effects the alternate choice has. Is it worth finishing DA2? Yes? Probably? Depends on how far you are into it.
