BioWarEA really sucked balls with their online-only Keep bullshit, which is a damned shame as it's nicely put together too. Best way would be to borrow a friend's account, create your Keep, create your character in game, import Keep World State, then save your game, go offline, give the account back and never worry about it again >_>
You just have to hope Gibbed is willing (or able!) to put out a save editor.

How much does it actually affect the game (DA: Keep worldstates)? Is it just banter/different dialogues?

Yeah but there are some characters who may or may not appear based on your choices.

Haha thanks guys , my expectations are quite low for the obvious reasons, but from what I've seen so far, the game should still guarantee me some laughs (wanted or unwanted, doesn't really matter in the end). It's also the best dating simulator around, which would also compensate for the lack of buttsecs in The Sims 4. Only hope it's playable in terms of framerate, my 570 could explode any minute these days.

In some other forum someone posted this, to increase the graphics quality with the 3DM release. Just add it to the 3dmgame.ini:
Code: | ExeName=DragonAgeInquisition.exe -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel Ultra -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+ |
Have not tested it myself yet

I was getting that almost constantly. Try "Borderless Windowed Mode" in game; it pretty much completely eliminated the random error-less drops to desktop.

I'm sorry I rralise this is a lame sort of a question but while I'm doin the yarr wait I may as well get a coupla things straight, namely does the game work well enough to play in w7? Is the "8.1 is essential" confined to those who want to max out (there's a box under my feet with a 'devils canyon' (4790k) ROG mainboard, intel 730ssd,new PSU and a single 970 ), being my xmas present to meself, n I wasn't gonna assemble it until I get enough time to really enjoy the experience -does anyone know if the game work playably on a rig running 7 on a 2500k with a gtx 760?

Game runs fine on Ultra without MSAA .
never saw dips bellow 35 fps durring gameplay, it kinda stutters though i think thats because i set the textures at Fade Touched .
Running Mantle btw with Radeon r9 280 and FX 6100.
Its a gorgeous game but the combat kinda sucks, hope i get used to it.

Mantle causes micro stuttering with my 280X and i5-4690K, try using DirectX. I have no issues at all @ 1080p, maxed out, 2X MSAA.
@UreKismet Win 8 is not needed for this game

I'm not sure if Rick is doing anything with Inquisition, but the team that is working on the Inquisition extraction tools (a combo of guys from Mass Effect and Skyrim tools) are looking at the save file structure and face edits and/or swaps. There isn't anything available yet, but in theory it looks like it would be feasible.
