So, I've did some digging on my hdd and found one of my fav videos I compiled. It's a compilation of my fav trailers from years 2005 and 2006. Made in 2007. It shows how much I was excited for next gen (then next gen which was fantastic) and kinda shows how terrible the current ps4 xbone gen is in comparison.. Or at least, I don't feel the same excitement and creativity. The xbox 360 gen (just as a timeline) was fantasic. So many new games. now everything is iteration and sequel.
Also... I am no longer as creative as I back then (I am 25 now). I edited a lot of stuff, toyed a lot with photoshop,
I wanted to create, but now ? Now I don't feel anything I think the lots and lots of everything on the internet have made me so much less creative (also studies and work). back then, there was no video games streaming, youtube personalities ?(youtube was still new stuff)
So, the clip I am talking about is nothing special really. now. it is for me, but I guess its nothing interesting for other people. Especially nowadays. I remember (and still am) being very proud of the cuts between each trailer part in that compilation. Especially gears of war cut into hellgate at 40seconds. man yes. I know aspect ratio is borked
my Youtube channel is just a dump of everything I've done until then (well almost everything, I have like 10 garrys mod videos with polish dub but thats embarassing )
and I really liked to capture video game bugs back then as You can see.
