Dayz updated again and must say its slowly coming together now, runs great and looks great not found any mp5's or grenades yet though  food and canopeners still rare for most part
I am looking forward to H1Z1 - they may be bastards of a game to play at times but at least its entertaining if you dont take it seriously for most part, I used to find when I was against pvp in these sort of games or mmo's or wherever pvp could fuck up ur day was to just get into it have a go and kick ass..
Many people hate pvp because they tend to feel they wont be good at it I have found when speaking on TS with folk. Its sort of a fear or something lol.

Didn't happen at 19.00 so it won't happen today! 
Don't think it's that far off that they will release something. I'll try it out regardless, want to see if SOE is still SOE. A good way to prepare myself what to expect of the new EQ

Same Anti Cheat as Planetside 2
Seasons (Winter, Spring etc.)
Weather like heavy rain also affects the hearing of zombies.

you are not forgetful he said and swore by it that the game would go steam and be able to be freely tested by everyone and released this year |

Yeah wasn't disputing it wasn't an MMO. Meant with the 'mmo' that it's not following a typical mmo beta. I really don't like Early access used like this. I'm fine when the game wouldn't have had a public beta like most SP games, but with MMO's...
I've been play testing since 1992 when they send you the cd's/diskettes by mail (MMO's a bit later). Always reported the bugs, testing things that needed to be tested... but ever since that pay for beta has creeped up in MMO's... URGH! Feels like they gave you the finger. Past two years I have played a lot less Alpha/beta's compared to other years.

It ran pretty shitty when released and for nearly a year after that, but then it received a really major engine optimization that made a great difference on the performance, especially on mid to low spec.

Aye the typical SOE launch, I had enough power to throw at it and it ran well. I just wasn't much into the pew pew anymore.

Planet side 2 engine is a fantastic thing to play on. It had its issues as mentioned in the past but even then it was fine for me but now its 10 fold again better since its updates. They got a good stable huge amount of possible worlds to create using that engine.

I think this is going to be the first decent zombie mmo after dayz mod.
They also said that there will be 3 vehicles with the EA. A jeep, pickup and a police car (with sirens 'n shit). They are also going to add different game mods like Hunger Games / BattleRoyale & etc.
I'm sure some of you played or still playing PlanetSide 2. Are there a lot of cheaters? The devs said that as soon as the cheats / hacks come out, they are already outdated after a short while, because programers get kinda bored of writing new stuff all the time...

I think this will be exactly like DayZ... suffering from the same problems.
And that 3rd person bullshit again...
Oh it will also be the next big target of the swarms of hackers... obviously. This will get more attention than Planetside 2 ever had. So it's anti-cheat won't last long.

your reply has nothing to do with when or why a cpu was used on planetside 2 or even a great hint at such a comparison. |
