So my ex who I have a son with havent actually cared much about him for the last 11 years..

...closing in on Christmas she asked me for ideas for presents to him.. Last year I gave him a laptop and this year he gets a 3DS with loads of games...she cant afford much and its not a competition on who spends most anyway so..

..anyhow - I asked her what she had in mind so far...she said money.. a giftcard for toys (he is 11 and stopped playing with toys long ago)... and then she said something that left me rather speechless...remember - this is for a 11 year old kid who likes computer games and is active in rugby... so what was her last suggestion for christmas gift? A FLOWER! WTF??? lol!

Well swedes have something weird with flowers as gifts... My fiancee when she doesn't know what to get her dad, brothers, stepdad she thinks of a flower... most men don't give a toss about that... yet here in Sweden most women think like that.

I've got it!

A brazzers subscription, better than you/someone else having to fix that laptop due to dodgy sites. Very Happy
On a more serious note: doesn't seem like the most difficult kid when he likes gaming and does Rugby seems plenty of choices for her that doesn't have to cost much. Smile

Well she's trying at least. Even if she wasn't always there for him for 11 years, you can only encourage her to change that.
