Guys, My contract has ended and i need to sign on to new 2years plan. Don't want to spend much if anything because I am still happy with my note 2. But there is a good deal on s4 almost for free with a bit more expensive contract.
Is s4 worth it over note 2 ?

Somehow I don't think he has the cash up front for it and therefor wants a contract phone. 
And no, if you have the note 2 then don't get the s4 as it's a downgrade (unless size bothers you on the note 2).

Size is ok. Oneplus one would be great but it only available via shady sources
will wait for note4 to reach acceptable price levels.
alpha looks good too and would ease with my pocket

How about htc one e8 or m8 ?
I would get nexus5/6 or the oneplus but those are not available on contract. Besides 5.5inch + is a bit too much. Even my note2 is tiresome at moments

Well... As fot the phone for myself, I was really looking forward to very expensive now note4 to replace my note2, Mainly because of gearVr... BUT as it seems, gearvr is very expensive. You have to drop files onto the phone, so 15gb 1080p stereo movies are out of the question and most importantly... GearVr only support bluettoth samsung headphones !!!!!!!! No jack headphones at all. So WTF. I just bought brainwavz hm5 and would not be able to use it with gearvr? that's silly.
So... Lg g3 or maybe m8? or wait for nexus6 or something else ? I will be lacking stylus tho.. but all those options are well cheaper than note4 alone. And as for oculus. I will get real deal when it comes out next year or two

After all i think i will go for g3. It lacks the stylus from my note 2 but compating g3 to note 4.... Note4 is not worth twice the price. And g3 have nice slim design which appeals to me plus that circle case is just genious

G3 is a great device, but what you said about prices is way off. Note4 isn't twice the price. 600eur (for Note4) vs 430eur (for G3 32GB). Also, Note4's screen is phenomenal, while G3 screen is just OK. then there's a whole battery life difference, heating issues on G3 and so on.
there is no perfect device, neither is Note4, but Note4 is more expensive for a reason.
