I just moved into Skyhold. I can see the quartermaster's icon in the map, but I cant seem to be able to reach him. Near Cassandra, there is a door model, though it is not an interactive door.

Same problem. Am I missing something?

PS Nevermind.. I had to leave Skyhold and come back to resolve this Wink

Leave Skyhold with a party and then come back and it'll all be working and unlocked.

I think Sera is uglier than Josephine. But I really like her attitude and her voice. So, I'll probably go down on her Very Happy

Sera is lesbian. Will only manage to get down on her if you play as a female character.

You can still try the romance dialogue with a few characters even if you are not "compatible" but you are usually rejected quickly.

Had a interesting conversation with Iron Bull just now, talked about a high dragon fight but he wasn't even with me during that battle so it's a bit weird and then he gets all weird, was a fun conversation though. Razz

Is there any way to disable the quest tracker on the upper right corner? I use contextual HUD, but that shitty and huge thing stays there. I wish I could resize the semi-useless mini-map.

It's the worst area I have been to yet, so I never returned. I'll probably go again when I have a lot more shards. Seemed like a shitty DLC area.

Excellent choice. Playing a backstabbing bastard is awesome Very Happy I also like how my ELven heritage is referenced at times.

No, and that's not a diverging patch as such. It's classic Biowarian illusion of choice. You do get a different mission when you make the choice, but other than that the only consequence is flavour text in some minor War Table missions and a few bits of different dialogue in conversations. The choice is a prelude to the actual main plot, so which choice you make is meaningless.

Thanks for the info. I'll just reload a save and play the templar path. I doubt I'll have time to replay this any time soon.

There's another desert zone later, which I think is the biggest zone in the game.

Finally beat the game, took me around 65 hours. I didn't collect everything and I missed three dragons. Overall I enjoyed the game. I was kind of disappointed that there weren't many unique end game items. I wanted to find some nice looking high level armor, but the best I had was Masterwork Battlemaster that had the same appearance as the Battlemaster armor you can get at level 15. It would've been nice if high level ingredients like dragon bone gave you unique armor and weapons instead of just changing their stats.

Yeah the crafting system is stupid. There are a bunch of different armour models, but most of them don't have slots for arm & leg addons, so they can never be as good stats-wise as the ones that do, and those all use the same couple of models.

I've received the Iron Bull messenger at Haven but the quest to recruit him is not appearing, also the place he stays in Storm Coast is empty, nobody is there. Is this a bug?

In my previous save I was able to recruit him without a problem, maybe the cause is that in the current save i'm playing as a double-handed warrior?

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yeah, crafting is often shit in MMOs and such. The way it should go:

regular loot < rare loot < crafting < unique or very rare loot

In most cases, crafting is just a step above regular loot making it worthless to put time in. I never understood why they bother crafting at all if you can find much better gear by doing quests.

I think most devs put it in because people expect it. I won't claim the system here is great, it just works and I get good items. It's certainly worth the effort imo.

Tell that to people who bought DA3.

Actually, DRM bullshit notwithstanding, I'm feeling quite annoyed with myself for not snatching up DA3 for £16 when I had the chance. It's a damned good game Smile

I didn't want to continue the offtopic in The Crew thread, but how do you find the writing Sabin? I only played 2-3 hours on a friend's account and I found it preeetty bad.
