I'm thinking of a small xmas present for my sis in law. I mentioned to her that during our studies we had these boards where you could wire shit together (like chips that'd do xor, or, and) and so on... I don't remember any details though and but would like to get her something that she can physically put together to play around.

Does this even make sense? Are there better ways that are also fun? minecraft comes to mind, but the process of creating a xor with some blocks of red stones, a torch and dirt seems to make things rather complex than understandable Very Happy

Why don't you just go with Raspberry Pi where she can turn on LEDs from Python? Very Happy
