Say what? What's in there that would make it fail to run on PCs with 8Gb RAM?
I know, I know, RAM is CHEAP, but that's not the point.

When this game comes out in a year or two years (for PU?) then most people serious about their gaming will own a capable card, or get one when needed. Its not a big deal to people spending thousands on ships to fork out a few hundred on a new card.

Not lately, heh. The fires and the bankruptcy of the third largest manufacturer have forced the prices up to insane levels.

Old news but Tony Zurovec, creator of Crusader: No Regret/No Remorse decided to come back to game development because of Star Citizen. I had no idea. I loved those games. Roberts and Zurovec. Cool.

Probably been answered before, but I assume you can't fly all those ships? Some are restricted to NPCs?
Or is it possible by having a team from the same corp/clan fly those capital ships?

I guess they'll keep the biggest/strongest ships in the hands of the security forces/military so players can't fuck up everything.
Would be nice if they could be destroyed by players. And have them permanently be destroyed with some time and resources needed for the NPCs to replace it.
But damn that Hunter looks awesome

What is the "kingship" of the human fleet? Is the Bengal carrier the biggest human ship?

Largest player ship that can be logged out/parked is planned to be the destroyers.
If its bigger its a persistent Universe asset that can be captured or blown up. Have to wait for more details though how exactly they will do that in regards to replacing, repairing, minimum amount in space, maximum number of player controlled capital assets, stuff like that etc..
They pretty much only said ships need to be build and it will take time but thats true for every single ship and at the moment probably noone knows how many ships actually need to be build to not frell up gameplay to much.
They reclassified the Idris corvette to a frigate when they increased the size from ~150m to ~240m
Everything build by humans should be flyable, they are some concerns about the alien ships since they use different seats and stuff, they prolly wont/cant make all flyable.
If I recall right the vanduul harvester for example is like a robot without crew.
For the biggest ship, there is some info about a human battleship around bengal size but no details no pics.

They should incorporate every holiday in the world as a sale, since we got way too little of those.

I wonder if we'll ever see a proper big-budget space game that you can play completely offline, with no authentications, forever alone mode and with an engaging single player campaign that is not linked to the persistent online world whatsoever..
Did they say anything regarding Squadron 42? I'm starting to lose hope for that one as well after Elite took the Dangerous road xD
I would be content with something like X-Rebirth, only not crap.

Nothing has changed, SQ42 is still offline-able.

Good . It would be really foolish to change their minds after the Elite drama, so many people have been alienated already, another backpedaling would be the last straw.
It's also an opportunity for them to gain even more consensus, which also means more money...to fund the MMO component of the game instead . Jokes aside, I really hope it stays like this until release date.

I won't worry about that. SC is still pouring in funds every day. No reason to take a PR hit. Keep doing the same, and they will hit that 100mil mark CR "arrogantly" predicted.
