Yeah one launch it will run better than the other.
How about crashing do you also experience it? In around 2.5 hours played the game crashed to desktop twice with exe error

I haven't had a single crash yet (legit steam version here though). BTW, since my las post I noticed that my problem might be CPU usage. Mine is an already dated quad core (oc'ed) but all four cores get utilized up to 99-100%. So I did some additional testing and I noticed that if I have any other opened programs, like Firefox or HWInfo, while playing the game, then the stutter and partial freezes appear. Close them and next launch nearly no stutter and zero freezes.

The more I play this, the more I like it. I'm like 10+ hours in.
Also, @Neona
You get to open that chest a bit later in the game.

I have this happening every once in awhile too and it seems completely random. At least the game saves quite often lol.

Literally this entire paragraph is nothing but anti-american horseshit. There isn't a single fact in anything you posted. |
Just because it's anti-american does not mean it's not true.

As someone that graduated and majored in History, i died a little inside reading that. |
And after reading the anti-French rubbish, you were alive and kicking, right? You know, they teach history differently in France, America and Russia. Read a book once in a while, maybe.

I guess he majored history in USA.
Soviets suffered over 8 million deaths (military alone) in WW2 compared to ~400,000 dead American soldiers, but no, the only real history is what's being taught in USA. Not to mention how many nazi scientists ended up working for the American government after the war.

Yeah, we should be thankful to the Soviets for "liberating" half of Europe. My country was "liberated" for 45 years, and what liberation that was! Also, I am very thankful to the Soviets for raping everyone, when their "liberating" force arrived.
Thanks, Soviets, you so RAD!

I'm not going to get into a full-on debate with you since this isn't the thread for that.
However, I will say that I would be on board if you said the US was just along for the ride in WW1, so it's not rose-colored glasses and American nostalgia.
Ignoring how important the US' involvement win WW2 was, not just to winning the war faster, but AT ALL, it you having anti-American colored glasses.

Because number of soldiers killed is the most relevant statistic when figuring out which country was more important to ending the war.

Also, how many of that number were POWs? 4.5 million Russian soldiers surrendered, mostly in 1941. Where do you think they went? To a Copacabana?
And what did Russia do to help beat Japan and Italy? I'll wait.
What would happen if the US stayed out completely and Japan inevitably opened up a second front in RUSSIA through China/Manchuria?

American material and supply (Lend-Lease) were essential to winning both the Battle of the Atlantic and the Eastern Front, although by far the most important contribution to both Theaters of Operation was intelligence, specifically code-breaking efforts. In that respect the Polish did more than the Russians if you want to get technical. BTW, there were some things called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, The Winter War, the Pact of defense and mutual assistance (Baltic occupation), and the Romanian ultimatum (Bessarabia), but let's just gloss over those minor details. I've read dozens of academic books on the subject but I digress, it was a combined Allied effort and to try an diminish the impact of any member is at best revisionist and at worst misinformed.
As far as this game goes, I'm just going to wait it out for the performance patch. I did the same for Watch Dogs and it was a good call. In fact, I'm just doing it for all games these days, including some of the indie (Unity-based) ones. There's just far too many bugs, imbalances, performance issues, etc., for me to even bother with 0-day play. I actually like the historical era they chose and I'll probably enjoy the game once they get their shit together but it's obviously this one was released too early. On the other hand, I got tired of AC3 halfway through and couldn't even enjoy AC4 despite the great ship battles because these games are getting too repetitive/chore-oriented. I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor more.

Quote: | With Patch 2 live for PS4 and PC—and, as of this writing, with the Xbox One version in the pipeline—we want to start sharing a bit about what we're working on for the next major update, Patch 3. As compared to the previous patch, Patch 3 is going to be larger in scope, addressing a number of bugs in the areas where you’re telling us you're having the most problems.
The list of specific fixes is not yet final, but the categories that we’re focusing on include:
Gameplay: this includes bugs like Arno getting stuck on certain areas of the map (including a few more hay carts), problems with getting into/out of cover, character animation bugs, and general camera problems
AI & Crowd: in this category are problems with NPC animations, crowd events, and crowd stations, NPC navigation issues, as well as bugs related to NPCs detecting Arno’s activities in various situations
Matchmaking & Connectivity: this covers a number of issues related to co-op play, including bugs with joining games in-progress and problems that happen during host migration
Menus & HUD: fixes in this category will address missing details in certain menus, problems with some of the mission objective and co-op update pop-ups, localization inconsistencies, as well as some of the issues with menus and pop-ups overlapping each other
General Stability: this includes fixes for a number of crash situations we've identified in both campaign and co-op modes.
Again, while the ultimate list of fixes for Patch 3 isn’t finalized yet, it will be soon. Part of what we want to do at this point is balance the competing desires to get as much as we can into the patch with getting it out quickly. Once we’ve locked down exactly what will be in Patch 3, we will update you again with a more specific set of patch notes. This next patch won't solve every problem, but we're expecting that it will dramatically improve your experience.
We are also investigating various performance issues including framerate drops, and are looking into how we can address them. We’ll tell you more about our progress on that topic in the coming days.
Thanks again for your patience and your passion. Please continue to share your thoughts and feedback in the comments below and in the forums, and make sure you’re submitting your problems to our support site! |

Who cares if this game looks so amazomg on highest when only "chosen" ones can make it more or less playable. Better post screenshots with everything on low and 25 fps then we can talk about how it looks and how it runs compared to that look.
Also I know Neon is not a stupid guy but I have a feeling that he was on a trip to visit Ubi HQ, he got a chance to try their "Animus" and something went wrong in there.
