Is it possible that it could be accessed during some mission later on ? For me there is one chest under Notre Dame in the catacombs but the door leading to it needs some kind of mechanism, which I've heard you will use in one of the sidequests. Could be the same here.

In that case this is a bane of completionist existence as I too like to collect everything before moving on with the story. Smile

Had this from first launch, then I lowered res to 1280x800, and blocked exe in firewall, after that its reduced by 90%

Patch most certainly makes it run a bit better, if it's not just a placebo. Now if they actually did something about the performance, I'm sure it'll be much better Laughing

So tell me how did you enjoy visiting Paris in 17th century Marty McFly ?

What you visited is a metropoly area of consisting of almost 12 milion people. And in this game its a city of around 600000 and yet population per square km looks bigger than in modern day Tokio or Beijing. Im at beggining of the game and im already scared that at one point an npcs starts crawling out of poor Arnos ass

Ah, so then you have a time machine instead.

Neither of us can fucking guess how many people were walking around 200 years ago in Paris. If you've been to Paris before NOW though you can at least try to make it like feel like a bustling city that people know it as.

And I really question if you've actually been to Tokyo because even outside of the hours of people coming/going to work the place is fucking wall to wall people on the main streets.

Tokio example was deliberate exaggeration.

I dont need time machine, 18th wasnt stone age, theres legit data about population of Paris and other major cities of that time. You have internet, use it and see it for yourself.

Well i'm close to the end, and i have to say. Aside the technical issues and the few annoyances with free running. Gameplay-wise this is one of the best AC's to date.

And you're suggesting that the areas that have thousands of NPCS is an exaggeration of real life? I call bullshit. During a beheadings, protests, etc there would be even more then 10k people.

And yes, you can look at artwork from the time period. It shows a lot of fucking people.

Sure, the city had way less population back then but cities back then still had similar density at street level.

The moments I like best in about every AC game ?
That's when I climb the Eagle Vision's towers, as the FPS gradually gets better Very Happy

Too bad this runs so poorly, the game seems quite enjoyable.

Would it be safe to use the 1.2 patch and Ali v5 crack on the reloaded release? Or do I really need to leech one of those Ali packs?

Reloaded release is v1.1.0 both .exe and patch files. You need all patch01.forge files + .exe
All other releases are same uplay-preload copy that had those patch01.forge files laready on v1.2.0 so those copies need only .exe

This happens because both Uplay and Steam downgraded game on release date.

Same thing happens now with FC4 pre-load copies are v1.2.0 but if you have retail copy and activate you downgrade to v1.0 Very Happy

Yep this is all you need. Also your saves won't work of course. (I mean saves made by reloaded emu are first stored on different place and second different encryption i believe there will be convert tool soon , but for now you can't convert)
This is why i'm not using anything form reloaded anymore.
They protect their cracks so you always have to wait them to release the update.
With P2P cracks that works just as fine as reloaded one you can get updated files and play.
And you can always find updated files for games very quickly in rin Very Happy
