As someone that grew up with Manga Home Video, I'm used to poor English VA and... to be honest.. I'm kind of drawn to it. I'd rather watch a dub than a sub in most cases and it's not less the case in games either.
The game is nice but the combat is bullshit. There's no execution from behind - wtf. And check this out..... - I attacked a SLEEPING enemy (he was in the bed) with my shovel, he had a knife - he got up and won like a boss - HAHAHA SURE BRO! The odds this shit to happen irl are 0. Its not like I opened the door and the enemy heard me - I sneak up right to his motherfuckin' bed and my fucker wait for the guy to wake up - wtf Besides its common sense that if you have a shovel you will smack the knife out of other guy's hands - but no this is not how it works here. Also the dmg is fucked up - 4 direct hits with pistol rounds are dealing less dmg than 1 stab with the knife. 1 knife hit can almost kill you, but 4 shots by pistol will leave you to 15-20%.
But after closing my eyes for this, the crafting is not really well made. The numbers I mean. They are not realistic in any way. It takes sooo much to make things that take no more than 1-2 parts at all. I hope someone manage to mod the game to balance the crafting and then its gonna be awesome. Atm the game is hard mostly due to the shitty combat, but I doubt it can be fixed. The crafting is annoying but its manageable.
