First review: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/481112/far-cry-4-xbox-ps4-review/
Quote: | This is probably the best that Far Cry has ever been. And that's saying something.
+The scale of the environment is stunning to behold and interactive with.
+ Consistent surprises mean it's impossible to ease into a predictable routine.
- Competitive multiplayer is functional and nothing more. Disappointing.
- Some missions are overly linear, at odds with expansiveness elsewhere.
9/10 |

Good title, played a bit on 360. Def needs a few mods on PC though (attachments and making certain things possible like in FC3)
Time advancement is taken from FC2, which is pretty nice. Auto-drive is alright but controls pretty weird.

Ok, false alarm, it has no .exe.
It least the preload is released already.

Wtf lol how is it even possible to have worse story than FC3?
1 and 2 are still amazing.

There is a FOV slider in FarCry 3 at least, not sure if they added it with a patch or something.

There surely is for the PC version (on release) but it'd be enough for me if there was a mod for the 360. Although, that may be too in-depth.

Quote: | Thus, Far Cry 4 is a needy game, reminding you constantly that there's something to do everywhere you go with pop-up messages that invite you to go do something other than what you are currently trying to do. Did you just liberate that camp? Well, you'll be told it's under attack 10 seconds after you leave it, and the game will move your waypoint to it on your behalf. And if you re-liberate the camp, it'll be under attack again 10 seconds after you leave. Don't want to go back? Far Cry 4 informs you of your failure when you don't. |
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
