Holding LB makes a crosshair come up, but he doesn't aim, so if you shoot while holding LB, there's a 1 second delay before he lifts the gun up to aim to shoot

pretty much the same, though so far i didnt fall through the ground with the reloaded crack, beware though youll have to start from scratch when switching to reloaded
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
AC2 and AC3 had certain stylized beauty, the graphics was far from realistic, but it was pleasant to look at.
AC4 was a step down, especially the cities, but the sea action was good and pretty.
However, screens and videos of AC5 remind me the era of FMV adventures with cutouts of real actors on rendered 2d backgrounds, like Gabriel Knight 2, or Phantasmagoria.
It's realistic looking, but in a bad sense. Everyone looks like a member of a high school historical reenactment club, putting on some grandpa's trousers, a wig and an old theater sabre prop and off to reenact French revolution with friends after school.
Maybe 18th century Paris was full of squalor and looked like this, but I blame the simplified lighting model and reduced shadows, everything seems to lack depth and consequently, atmosphere.
I think they're trying to fix as much as possible with the 1.2 patch for damage control. A lot of people will be pissed since they didn't release it before the weekend though. I won't be playing untill that patch gets released.
welcome to paris, the most overrated city in the world.
the city you are actually looking for when thinking of visiting paris is prague
well that would be fine setting aswell ,but not sure which era would be best for AC in Prague
I think the best setting would be first half of the 15th century during Hussite uprisings when catholic Europe organized several crusades against Czech hussites and failed. You could insert many assassin/templar speculations there.
In fact, Andrej Sapkowski, author of the Witcher books has already done that and wrote a fantastic trilogy on Czech Hussite era called God's Warriors (Narrentum, God's Warriors, Lex Perpetua). It's witty, loaded with well researched facts as well as fabulations about surviving adepts of pagan magical cults, inquisition, etc.
Other era that comes to mind is early 17th century during the reign of Rudolf II, who was a great sponsor of arts and also alchemy, and who invited such prominent figures and Magister Kelley or John Dee to his court, hoping that they could discover the way to transmute base metals to gold and thus save his extravagant reign from financial ruin.
A more bizzare settings could include 1970s after Warsaw Pact invasion that quelled democratic, pro Western movements and started an era of repression called "The Normalization". Exprezident Husak as a Templar adept is a thought amusing enough.
