Ive never been banned for an eu key, just for russian ones... and i always buy at gamekey stores, so i wouldnt worry about that.

Bought a friend of mine an MoP key from mmoga.de back then. Everything is fine and dandy. Not sure about other sellers though.

It's the same now but ofc they could still enforce Russian language only client like they did with DIII. |

I wouldn't risk it tbh. Eu keys are cheap enough and as i said Blizzard likes to punish russian key buyers.

Well RU are about 16 USD.. so I dont think EU are cheap... 41 USD for expansion isnt cheap for me...

Well, it ended up cheaper with the 60 day gamecard bundled so i bought it from g2play. And now it's back. That damnable queue...

Well they always offered free transfers from most over populated servers, I moved myself from ravencrest which was one of biggest at start. I know its a pain in ass though.
