Read the NFO:

º 3) Fire up CoD2 and start a server. Your friends can now connect º
º directly to your IP to join the game without having their CDKey º
º checked by Activision.

Now my question is, How can your friends connect directly to your ip?
I checked the Multiplayer of Call of Duty and there are no such commands as for example
"Enter Ip & Join"
Note that this patch will not list your game in the public lists.

So how can my friends join my server?

maybe with the console ?!

console ---> "connect IP"

dunno havent installed COD2 yet
