I'll probably get ~40 fps avg at 1920x1200. Very Happy

next-gen confirmed, men.

The biggest performance hog is probably the 4xMSAA they're using, I'm sure it'll run better with FXAA/SMAA and newer drivers, but even taking that into account the overall performance seems bad.

Yeah hope MSAA is a big resource hog. I never use AA in games anyway I find no point to it.

It has a release date in Japan close to other regions, so yeah there's that.

So 30fps with my 760. Right in the cinematic™ sweet spot, as it was meant to be played. I should drop it down to 1600x900 and set details to low for the full next gen console experience.

That is because sexual orientation, race (in an RPG) or gender per se is completely and utterly irrelevant to a person being interesting or not. Its not about what a person is or likes but about what they experienced and their personal goals.

And people constantly in need to talk about their or other peoples sexuality really have issues with it, which basically means they are superficial stupid idiots who think they are special for what they are and not for what they do or experienced in their lives. I'd call those people the real sexists but ok...

Also it seems to me these devs are just as shallow as their creations.

GTX 770 vs GTX 970, difference is so minimal, looks legit benchmark, i bet the NV drivers are shit currently for the game, no way the difference is that small. Guess the game is too gay for nvidia cards.

Dunno why but I always confuse those engines up in my head lol. Probably because they both look nice and run well lol wut

Reviews are all positive but I think DA2 received the same treatment so I'm still on the fence.

Yeah reviews mean shit - especially since most of the journalists are cunts who don't know a good RPG if it snuck up on them and raped their gay asses.

4xMSAA is going to dent your FPS by a huge margin. FXAA and I bet it will be 50+

They got paid to rank DA2 that high - simple as that.

From the looks of it, this can't be worse thand DA2. Mainly because DA2 is amongst the worst AAA games ever created - if not THE worst.

Yeah they got paid and it bit them in the ass big time. PC Gamer lost a lot of subs after that joke of a review. I cancelled my sub right then and actually wrote them a letter explaining why. Bunch of cunts deserved it - giving a shit game like that 94% should get you blacklisted everywhere.

Looking at gamespot's review they list:

THE BAD
Combat requires relatively little strategy

Which in an rpg with cringeworthy dialog is kind of a big deal.
