If you are looking for better graphics, bug fixes and tweaks, then yes, MGSO3 has them all!

The latest Tamriel Rebuilt release (Sacred East) has been updated to v1.5. The update includes, among other things, a sizeable number of new quests.

Has anyone tried Morrowind Rebirth? I usually avoid mod compilations (or whatever you call them) since they do too much, but this one seems promising. The problem is that no guide mentiones Rebirth together with MGSO, some guides are mentioning conflicts between the two.
Next time I replay this one I want to keep things simple (since I'm sick of spending days sorting mods), so I'll use the guide below. I don't know if Rebirth will cause problems with those mods though. Any advice?

I wouldn't use Rebirth on a heavily modded version of the game, given that it makes extensive changes to most cities, but the mods listed in that guide shouldn't conflict with it (I'd really stress the "shouldn't" here - you're bound to find some, hopefully small, conflicts anyway).

Thanks, I won't use it. It seems promising, but I'm not in the mood to read a bunch of forums and readme's concerning possible conflicts.

The game does not seem to like it when saves get overwritten. When using quicksave, the save gets corrupted at random. I don't remember I ever had this problem in dem olden days, might be the mods obviously. Is there a way to force the game to use a new savefile everytime I hit quicksave?

I get between 30-40 (60 indoors) with the very fast PC setting. I didn't tweak anything manually this time since it runs and looks good enough. Might it be an SLI thing?

Started playing this again and I have 2 problems.
1. I remember when I played the vanilla game in 2002, stationary NPCs, especially the silt strider operators, gradually move from their original position, drop from platforms they are supposed to stand on. I noticed this still happens, I guess this is a Gamebryo "feature" and couldn't be fixed.
What is the safest way to move them back to the right spot? I don't want them to get lost or drown.
2. Is there a mod that allows more scrolling of the local map? It's very restricted and a bit annoying.
ASUS GTX 660 2GB, AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE, MSI 870-G45, 4GB DDR3 1333, Plextor M5 Pro 128GB, WD Red 1TB

You can use the console to reset the NPCs to their original position (open the console, select the NPC and type "ra")

IIRC, there should be an option in the Code Patch for this.
