I think this will be my Assassins Creed game for the year and I'll get Unity later when it's cheap like $20.

so, any gameplay feedback yet? already have it downloaded and extracted at home, just need to get home from work and transfer it to the xbawks :/

I've heard it described as a dlc to black flag nothing really new so if you like black flag you'll like this if you dont you wont.

Well I would say it's more than just DLC. It's far more work to Story and everything than the Adewale (go there, do that) and a much bigger world to explore.
Half of full price would've been okay seeing as many stuff was freshly made just in a known place (which is only that house of Achilles), full price is definitely not worth it.

Am I the only one that's kind of burned out on the ships? I was pretty tired of them after 20 hours of Black Flag. I am only on part 4 of chapter 1 and i'm kinda bored. Does Unity have ships as well?

Just finished the main story. I pretty much skipped through most of the side content since I had enough of it in Black Flag and I didn't have any desire to go through that again.
As for my overall impressions I didn't really enjoy the game very much. The premise was interesting but the execution was lackluster (underwhelming confrontations with the assassins).
