leave the fugly motherfuckers at the hq, let them have their gangbangs, while i go questing and try to make myself think i am playing a real rpg.
If by some chance we see modding to the degree of model edits/replacements, that should at least cure the issue with ugly face models (a transplant of Varric and Cassandra's DA2 heads would be an instant improvement). I think you are out of luck on the matter of orientations and personalities though. That would require a full writer transplant.
i think ppl overreact about the sexual shit just like it was with tdu2 and the the sims part; i enjoyed alot that game by not paying much attention to the social stuff, same will be here

And I think people are way too forgiving, overlooking shit so easily and forgiving and forgetting just as well.

So much hate for this game. If it was from a different publisher, things would've been different.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I see nothing wrong with forgiving if they actually try to improve.
Hate? First off, let's not be fucking idiots here, please. Hating is a word used by internet morons, who couldn't argue a point, thus they brand all criticism as hate.
And criticism IS, what BioWare deserves after DA2.
The reasons are many, some of them: dumbed down combat, dumbed down world, dumbed down characters, truly bad writing, not even speaking of asset reuse here.
From all signs, that we have seen and read, DAI has the same shit writing, simplistic and one dimensional characters, and this "inclusiveness" crap shoved down our throat.
The writing in this game, that I have seen thus far, wants to be epic, but turns out to be cringeworthy, C-- movie level. No depth, no elegance.
DAO was basically the exact opposite, and we liked DAO.
So yes, it is completely understandable, that people go in not only with lower expectations, but if it turns out, that DAI is truly as shit as it seems right now, then many people will have to let go of a once great developer, BioWare, for good. And that is where the emotion is coming from.
I'd like the romancing and social stuff to be optional, but in Origins it actually gave the party members better combat abilities if they liked you more... that's what makes the whole thing tedious for someone who doesn't care about the personalities of the followers. It's like you're punished for not chatting them up, and let me tell you the bonuses do matter on higher difficulties when the monsters hit harder and take more punishment.
I don't really care about the sexuality part, atleast if they tone it down a bit, Anders was bloody annoying in Da2. But the gameplay looks really meh imo, and I'm not hyped at all.
I guess I am missing something here..Does somebody force you ride the bull or something?
Your other points are quite valid and Bioware truly deserves to be anally probed and shit for everything they've done, however, this " forced down your throat inclusiveness" argument just doesn't stand up imho
So far only their marketing campaign has been kinda aggressive in this regard , focusing on the wrong stuff instead of CRPG gameplay features, but we should wait and see how it is done in game
As long as dialogue options leading to sexual intercourse and stuff are clear then I see nothing to worry about.

Same here. It looks like a generic single player MMORPG
I'm gonna try the game, but I'm sure as hell not gonna buy it on release. Those times - times when I could just trust a Bioware game will appeal to me - are sadly over.
The graphics look good. Gameplay looks generic, but might be fun - unless they didn't learn from the terribad encounter design from DA2. But the thing the game lacks, IMO, is style. Any style, tbh. Any creative direction. What I see when I look at it is mostly just typical fantasy tropes and characters trying too hard to act and look badass. The final effect is an unintentional B-movie feel - like I was watching the horrible Dungeons&Dragons with Jeremy Irons once again Everything just reeks of it and it kills any hype I could ever have for this game.
I'm disappointed that when a huge monster hits a tiny little team member, it has no physical effect, no knock down or sending the person flying - the arm instead just passes straight through the body, like its shadow-boxing. It is too hard to develop an intense feeling combat system I guess, or they just couldn't be bothered to try.

But they're not improving on that aspect, it's really fucking obvious.
GameSpot:
"While BioWare has already stated that Inquisition is by no means concluding the Dragon Age series, the game "puts a few nails in quite a few coffins" and "introduces some new twists." For Laidlaw, the introduction of a multiplayer mode into the game is something he would like to continue exploring."
I'm playing on high settings 1920x1080 , not everything on ultra. Performance is great for me. Some dips here and there in areas with lots of NPCs, but that's expected. My rig is good, but the VRAM is a little low. Most of the time 60 (fps). Pretty sure of that. It's just in cities with lots of NPCs where I can feel it going down to like 45-50 or so. In some areas, it drops when there's a lot of stuff happening on screen (spell effects, water, rain, terrain etc) but it's not that bad

Game does have a benchmark tool

The dialogue wheel sometimes loses its mouse pointer. When the pointer disappears, you can't select a choice with the mouse. On PC though, every conversation answer has a number so you can use your keyboard if the bug happens.

A fort you can take. You defeat the soldiers in there and then it's yours. You can then fast travel there, buy stuff, improve armor and other things
Hopefully there's gonna be a decent-looking UI mod up on the Nexus within a couple o' days after release. Free or not, I'm not even gonna yarr something with such a garbage UI.
Do the races have different stats (strength / hp etc) and do they have any abilities specific to their race? Or is it just the look of the character that changes in this?
