Yeah... quite huge
Even if it doesn't totally remove the problem, this patch tries (among other things) to reduce the tearing effect. I've played the PS4 unpatched version and it was unplayable...
Now i'm enjoying it more and more (the 69 average score on metacritic is quite severe i think....)

I played for an hour with no problems so far. Its a blatant Demon/Dark Souls rip off but Im enjoying it. I read there were framerate issues and crashing but so far so good.
Wow this game is challenging. Its got a Demon/Dark Souls difficulty feeling to it too! That first giant spider kicked my ass! And the Commander is taking some doing!

Finally took down the Commander and the giant spider but the goddamn boss in the graveyard is annoying me. This game is pretty tough! Also had the well documented audio cutting out bug. No crashes yet though.

The Graveyard boss is pretty simple, | Spoiler: | just get him to one of those shrines the ones where you hide in when he does that special ability and when you got him there he will ground slam en destroys one of those shrines when the shrine is destroyed by him he will be stunned thats you moment to kick off at least 2 of his life segments, then get him to another and he will die pretty fast |

Wow I kinda hate spoilers but Im glad I read that lol. So hes meant to be too difficult to defeat unless you know the alternative method?

Well I seriously ragequit this game yesterday. That hasnt happened in a long time for me lol. The graveyard boss super pissed me off and I went to bed angry!
Today Ive gone back to the game and can get no further. I decided my character was too slow and swapped out the heavy armour and weapons to gain speed. I am now able to evade the stun attacks which were infuriating but obviously take more damage and can do less damage to the boss. I am also able to sprint to the eggs and wipe them out.
The gauntlet was pretty useless to me until I started using projectile which is pretty useful for the eggs. I get even more annoyed when I destroy an egg before it hatches only for the enemy to still appear and attack me! Ive given up for the moment and have decided to build up my stats more before trying it again.
So I decided to backtrack and surprisingly I seemed to have missed out on a lot!
I found some guy that gives me a trinket to be able to see signs which I have yet to find. And Ive also found many many far too many locked doors! I even found a full set of better armour!
I realised the tutorial messages were not on screen long and was unable to read some useful information such as shield bashing damaged walls! I discovered that just recently and know of at least two of them, one of which has lead to a spider infested cellar! At the time I recall checking the options menus to re-read the information I missed but it was not available.
So I feel I may have missed out a chunk of the game and backtracking could be the way forward if that makes sense lol.

Looks like Im the only one replying to this thread lol
Made significant progress in the game now and my level 44 character is one tough bastard! Got a nice poison inflicting Vanguard blade which is hella fun! Just killed the Infiltrator and now looking for Antanas and Kaslo in the Monastery Citadel. Anyone know how far into the game this is? Ive been play it for about 13 hours I think now.

I don't have time atm .. so many games to play..I stopped playing it at the Graveyard boss. Ill pick it up probably in a week or so...and new stuff is still coming , ACU , FC 4 , GTA 5 , LBP 3 , DA 3. Sometimes Im happy when game that I want get delayed..

Would be interested in this game, getting my PS4 in the next days. But the reports of all the bugs and so on kept me from buying this until now...
