Preffy's incredible interpretation of the situation:

Game is advertised as a shiny turd, comes out and is just a regular old turd. People defend the turd by saying you shouldn't be surprised it's a turd and be happy you just got a turd and not a turd with syphilis in it.

The End!

EDIT: the customization options for Arno are staggering, I've seen RPGs with less clothing/armor options

Cant recall if I was collecting that stuff in any open world game, thats like the most boring aspect of those games lol. Collect 50 of some shit scattered all around the map, sounds like fun Very Happy Bet they are coming up with stuff like this with some teams of behavioral psychologists or other human addiction shrinks Very Happy

That said, I`m totally falling for loot collecting in Diablo games (but only in those, totally dont give a fuck about farming loot in other hns games) or one more level syndrome. Progress and unlocking shit in fps games also doesnt hurt Very Happy

It really became Ubi's thing... collecting for the sake of collecting. Feels like with every game they go further with that and it came to a point where the whole map is a clusterfuck Laughing

Alright, I'm now convinced that the guys playing on PS4 are playing an unfinished version of the game (even if it's a 1.0, the one day patch must fix a lot of things like it did in The Evil Within)

While I think it's the best gameplay vid so far, take a look at 0:13 on the left, with the guy getting his shoes shined. When Arno runs past him in 0:15 he literally changes all of his appearance. There's no way no one noticed that and I'm convinced that it will be fixed in the day-one patch.

I like how Ezio uses the phase-cloaking device at 7:39. Ouch.

AC3 was always considered the buggiest AC (and actually I didn't have the hilarious glitch you had Laughing), and yeah- pop-in was always a problem in AC games, but it was not as jarring as NPCs getting completely new attires and hairstyles within a second of coming closer to them. Laughing

Damn, the new context sensitive animations are something else:

EDIT: Another one I just made:

considering population was not as big as today and people didn't just aimlessly roamed the streets unless there was some kind of celebration or big event
i see absolutely no reason for this timeline to have shitload of npc's on a screen

Très Bien

people will have a chance to collect another billion unrelated objects that absolutely do not bring anything to the actual game
