I dont think it needs to be 60fps. Its not a fast game or a shooter. They must have done a trade off with the fps to ensure the game looked good and in my opinion it does look good. I played this for about an hour last night and havent even met the alien yet lol. Maybe tonight although Im still very much heavily invested in Shadow of Mordor! The audio is also super awesome with my 7.1 Sony Gold Wirless headphones!

I find this game boring on PS3 so I won't be playing it on any platform anyway, but thanks anyway.
Most likely i would be able to run it at 60 fps on my imac, minus some details I guess, but I don't care about this game to even try it on pc.
As most people know here now, I'm far from a graphic whore and usually if I find a game boring on the shittiest platform then it means that I'd find it boring too on the best platform ever.

Im quite enjoying this on PS4. The game is damn hard at first until you get a gun! I have only had a brief encounter with the alien but the humans are challenging. The AI is pretty good too. The one thing bugging me is that I cant seem to holster any items and when running round with the flare I usually accidentally activate it! The characters in the cutscense are ok but seem so lifeless in real time. The lip synching bugs me to but only slightly. I havent played the game as much as I would have thought due to The Shadow of Mordor but Ill play it some more later tonight
Im really enjoying Alien Isolation. Creative Assembly have outdone themselves with making good use of the licence. Im enjoying it even more so since I got the flamethrower! It means I have to less sneaky around provided I have enough fuel for it. The AI is pretty great at times! The humans find flares that I have been using which is cool. I was kinda hoping the alien would attack the working Joes but it doesnt instead the android makes amusing comments as it doesnt understand it lol. The environmental effects are awesome with smoke and and realistic looking fire that you can almost feel the heat from. This one could be GOTY for me ...
Finished the game! 10/10 IMO. Could be GOTY for me. The devs did an amazing job and I doubt any other devs could have made better use of the license. Gameplay, visuals and effects were top notch! The lighting and environmental effects are stunning. Also completed the re-enactment of the events in the Alien movie on the Nostromo which is the Crew Expendable and Last Survivor DLC. Epic stuff. Going to attempt the challenges now!

Loved the atmosphere, graphics, suspense.
Played it on normal and I had a real hard time the first 35% of the game (died so many times), but once I got a hold on the flame thrower...
Really hope there will be a sequal.
Oh and people that complain on the inernet, like it's too long and too repetitive... I do not agree at all, from beginning to end this game got me glued to the tv screen and not a moment was I bored, it has so many story twists and when I thought I was almost at the end, another twist and another one, over and over, loved it!
