Yup..
It might have a chance at working if there is someone enforcing the rules and the punishment for breaking them is severe,say, cutting hands off

Everything thats free isnt worth much... paying for a game somehow raises also its worth somehow. So if people dont have that easily access to a game, that might not be a bad thing... thats one side of it. The other side is, that money isnt spread fair all over the world, so many would unnecessarily suffer from that.
The argument with the iso demo isnt valid these days imho, as everyone can see the whole game via twitch, youtube, etc. and can read opinions from other players. Ultimately i dont like stealing stuff anyway... but since its so easy and some things are so overpriced, it happens.

there are so many ways to know if game is worth buying. there are countless videos online, gameplay streams, hundreds of player reviews on steam, mini reviews right here on this very forum.
so cut the bullshit, will ya? you are only crying like a girl because you can't pirate this game on the day it was released (this is like 2nd or 3rd similar post you made in this thread).

The game sells good because its simply good not because of the DRM.

Also these are things that "spoil" the game without playing it.
a demo is sometimes necessary but devs dont give a fuck and just want our trust and our money.

demos often require a lot of extra development time that is better spent on making the game better. demos were necessary back in the day when the only way to find out about the game was some gaming mag. not so any more. thanks to internet you can know anything bad or good about the game in painstaking detail.

from watching a game i cant fully know how good or bad it really is, i need to take the controls myself. i dont know whether this game has responsive controls or whether it has alot of delay in strikes, things like these can destroy a game for me completely.

yeah, cause i can see from a youtube video how well it respond, how shit are the controls, how crappy is the gameplay, how is running on my system and so. or hell, let me go read a profesional review on ign, that for sure will make up my mind. i enjoyed some games that had some really low scores and not recomanded tags. i hated some games praised by a lot of people, so no, no review from steam or other sources count for me.
i dont need an "isodemo" to decide to buy something, but i need a demo for sure. no posibility to launch the game on my computer ? no buy.

The RU retail version has Russian text and English audio but you can "fix" LoF exe to enable English text. However, it might get "onlyallowrunincountries" tag any time.
