That was really, really good! Very tense moments, great dialogue....

How much of the cliche "america is awesome" and "nazis suck" is in the movie?

well technically, all the german soldiers in us ww2 movies that are shown in a positive light are members of the wehrmacht (german defense army) and not members of the ss or nazi party.

Locke - 7,5/10

How to make an intriguing and fascinating movie with a budget of $100. One actor, one single setting, and a lot of feels. Tom Hardy was brilliant here.

The Purge 2. Very entertaining, much better than the first one. Frank Grillo is a great emerging action hero/villain.

So, the guy hunted by the purgers in the first movie now joined the rebels and receives orders from Omar/Chalky Very Happy Looking forward to a third and last installment.

7/10

Turtles - 4/10

It actually started out okay, but then got worse with each minute.

Pros:
+ turtles - it's strange, but I actually liked them. They've managed to give each one enough character, in a more visibile way than the old movies
+ (some of) the humour - it's genuinely funny sometimes, albeit in a stupid kind of way
+ lenght - yeah. It wasn't needlessly streched out to 3 hours, thankfully
+ April - 'nuff said Razz

Cons:
- (rest of) the humour - it's as bad as some of the worst transformers parts. Idiotic lines in completely wrong situations, and the worst part is: often, they're not even funny
- "Bay factor" - it's just soooo completely over the top it's actually hard to watch at times. I mean, physically hard to watch. Like you have troubles following the scenes because everything is spinning or moving or whatever. It can be extremely irritating
- deviations from the source - unneeded and usually for the worse
- most of the cast is really bad
- it's unbelievably stupid script-wise. Now, I know it's based on a franchise for kids, so I'm really not expecting much, but hell... a bare minimum of make-believe logic would be welcome. I mean not having stuff like:
 Spoiler:

or
 Spoiler:

or
 Spoiler:

and then
 Spoiler:

It's just epically bad. I'm convinced it was either written by a 10-year old or someone really high on some pretty serious shit Laughing

I just randomly skipped to a spot in the movie just to watch it a bit. I ended up at a scene where Mikey farted, and it reminded me of the farting robot from tranny 2, and I just went nope and turned it off.

I know that kind of gutter humor really appeals to a lot of people who watch shit like jump street, but I never saw the appeal of dick and fart jokes. Perhaps I'm just not American enough Philosopheraptor

+ April - 'nuff said

- She's played by Megan Fox, probably one of the worst "actors" to emerge in the 2000s.

I don't care for her looks, she looks overdone to me like a person who has had quite a few plastic surgeries, she's fake looking.

Plus, no red hair, fuck that shit.

I'm really not watching Fox on screen for her acting skills Laughing

It's obviously a matter of taste, but say what you will, she's still a mightily fine piece of ass as far as I'm concerned.

Her hair actually seemed dyed in some shots, but yeah - it's definitely not red enough Razz

That... was the dumbest evil plan that I have ever seen on a screen.
Someone was actually paid thousands to write the garbage I have just seen?! Laughing

Fox can't act for absolute shit, sounds incredibly annoying and her face seems definitely off
in some of the shots, nice job with all that plastic girl. Nice ass, though.

And Shredder was just... some guy?! WHAT THE FUCK Mind Is Full Of Fuck

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Shredder looks like a decepticon and the Transformers sound FX are so out of place.
