https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/659943965/human-resources-an-apocalyptic-rts-game

Quote:
Human Resources is a PC real-time strategy game that puts you in command of apocalyptic factions vying to conquer the drifting remains of a shattered Earth. Using humans as your resource, assemble giant armies to annihilate your foes, then feed the newly-cleansed Earthshards to your almighty leader.

Key Features of Human Resources include:

Asymmetrical factions! Play as ancient squid monsters from another dimension or as giant killer robots.

Insanely huge battles! Command hundreds of units and conquer sprawling, fully destructible cities.

Breathtaking visuals! A comic-inspired art style means the apocalypse has never looked so gorgeous.

Blast from the past! The tone, character, and pacing of a Command & Conquer game mixed with the mammoth battles of an Annihilation game.

Vid:

Looks awesome. I almost grabbed for my CC but than I spotted it's from Uber Entrainment.
So far no single player campaign, only MP or skirmish with AI. Sad
And I haven't played Planetary Annihilation but I have heard rather mixed reviews.

For a minute there I thought this might be a game where you play as some nameless corporate HR flunky, flushing resumes and taking 3 hr breaks with ease.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Dafuq? 1.4m for this? People are trying to give best for 1/10 of that and those lousy suckers are the responsible for PA fuck up. I think they think theirselves something they're not.

The idea and the video looks absolutely good, but for that goal and after what I've seen in that short video, it is not worth it. Absolutely. I think it will have so little content like PA that doesn't worth that money and they'll use it to expand their studio, not on the game. Again.

It's a lot, but i'll hope they make it.
Some people are septical about kickstarter, but a lot of 2014 better titles are kickstarted. There are not that many new projects though cause the hype is gone, so I hope a bigger project gets funded, it's good for pc gaming.

I though it was only one that didn't enjoy PA, now I can see i wasn't only one.
Never completed single PA game, it just isnt what I expected out of the game. Mindless spamming of units/buildings/resources isnt what I see as fun and it wasnt what they promised to deliver.

This looks like fun, but I dont trust them delivering what they state, they have no publisher and you cant exactly ask kickstarter backers if our requirements are same as their vision and that vision can go any way during development.
SO NOPE

well, asking for 1,4 million you dont deserve it to get funded.
so instead of just covering the expenses of the project, you want to cover the next 10 vacations as well? pricks.

1.4 million doesn't cover 15-20 professionals for a year, imho. Not even close, if you ask me.

Hey! They should just give Hatred bright cutesy colors like this game and it'll be all A OK. No mindless outrage at mass murder like what is happening in this trailer.

If that trailer was black and white, this would have been funded because of all the press from the outrage and stuff.

Developers are not your only cost, and don't forget about taxes and other benefits you have to provide for your employees.

1.4 mill is just not that much.
