With pretty much everything they do? Is the install base so fucking blind with everything?

They have one of the -worst- policies ever set. Especially when it comes to pointless region locking.
Their -account- system is totally ridiculous, set back in stone ages.
Their -hardware- revisions are one of the biggest slap in the face. "New" 3DS anyone?

And the list can go and on...

some how they manage to lock down a few good exclusives and that seems to see them through it time after time

Retarded Nostalgia from the retarded NES/SNES/N64/GAMECUBE/GAMEBOY fan base .... and because they are the only innovators ... two buttons , analogue pad , console FPS design , motion controls , Tablets , portable game systems , 3D without glasses etc... they push the technology into your gaming hardware .... when $ony and M$ only add more Power and they COPY/PASTES from Nintendo

MOVE and Kinect anyone... or retarded Streaming things into Tablets

Which free pass are you talking about? The points you mention are all correct, but just look at Nintendo, they are loosing a lot of money right now. Nintendo is affected by these things, they just have so much money from their good years, it does not hurt them much.

For me it's because they are less relevant. They don't influence PC gaming much, they also usually try to stick to the games rather than all the other garbage.

So when I think of Nintendo now it's mostly about some of their great games I still need to play on Dolphin.

After the SNES I never bought any Nintendo console until my girl thought it be nice to have a Wii for the times I'd visit her in Sweden. She had no newer console (nes,snes,GC,DS,PS2), while at my place in Belgium we usually played co-op games on the PS3. It was fun to play co-op games on the wii... but ever since we live together we rarely play on the consoles, now we got her pc and mine next to each other.

So yeah the Wii-U never even crossed my mind to own it nor the 3DS and such. Besides I've always been more of a Sega/PC guy anyway.

So the pass they get: I just don't care about them.
