I think the FOV is defaulted @ 90, can anyone confirm?

The in-game default FOV is 80, with the Cheat-Engine fix changing it to 90 worked really well but now when Flawless Widescreen fixes it further I'm unsure if it needs to be changed.
(Probably depends more of personal preference, FW supports using Num+ and - to adjust FOV too, or you can bind it to other keys if desired.)

Steam launch parameters for the game or a shortcut with the options added afterwards.
So you have this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\TheEvilWithin\EvilWithin.exe" +com_allowconsole 1 +com_skipintrovideo 1
And can add to it like so:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\TheEvilWithin\EvilWithin.exe" +com_allowconsole 1 +com_skipintrovideo 1 +r_swapinterval -1 +r_forceaspectratio 1.6
(You can remove +com_allowconsole too if you no longer need it, I think it was already mentioned but I believe enabling the console disables achievements until it's deactivated again.)

the thing is some are fans that will do it for free
the other ones are the coders that will do if for money , that's like from 1 to 2 months after the game release ... then they will patch it
its not like they will not do it or can not do it ... but for this labour they need money ...
its like :
Your mom can make you a blouse or a dress for free
or you buy it in a store
bad example
your dad can fix your water pipes for free
or you get a hydraulic that will fix it for a price + labour |

The thing is, if the developers/coders were actual gamers that were passionate about their work, it would have been a non-issue and wouldn't need "fixing" to begin with.

I really like Evil Within, its a quasi remake of my favorite resident evil game, which is 4. Sure it has some quirks and bugs. But the overall achievement is great anad id rate it a 8/10

tried it and i`ll stick with cheat engine because i cant get some settings to work on fws. fov while aiming is not right. i`m allready far in the game and i dont want playing with different settings now. i'm curios what is that bloom fix tho.

Corrects the aspect ratio, FOV, HUD stretching, menus and other effects displaying incorrectly if you changed the aspect ratio and also fixes the over-bright bloom effect which also occurs if you alter the default aspect ratio values the game uses.
IE the game will use the proper aspect ratio and FOV while maintaining the games functionality so you won't get those large black bars and none of the in-game effects should display incorrectly.

Hey fellas, flawless widescreen is somewhat blocked here, not sure why.
so since i'm lazy and dont wanna install a VPN can someone just upload the Plugin for Evil within?
i used a simple proxy to donwload the app itself but the plugin repository is also unacceptable from within the program.
these 3 folders should be enough
