I usually find very little interest in threads like this, but my new connection just got hooked up, and I'm pleased!

Congrats!
Not that envious since a lot of times I go: Mm I don't really need this speed, I'm on 100/100.
That being said, if it would be available I'd most likely would get it anyway because... Enlarge E-unit! Razz

Shocked

I mean... I have 120/10

And I pay 69 zł (16 EUR/20 USD) for that.

No cap of course, I think there are no caps in Poland since ~2000?

I am so sorry Inter, no wonder you buy so many physical versions! Laughing

I feel for you! Until this year I was forced to use a crappy 6mbit ADSL. It was even a somewhat worse situation because good cheap 100+mbit connections were available where I live just not in my appartment block.

But this year I finally got a fiber optic line.

@dsergei & @_SiN_: I used your pictures to for a post at my ISP's website and told them to hurry the fuck up with upgrading their internets. I hope that's okay, I mean they don't see your IP on that picture or anything ^^...

Can you get better speeds if you pay more?

Morphineus wrote:

To be fair - Bulgaria and Romania are special cases. Because of all the blocks built by Socialists, the population density is very big, and it's very cheap per apartment to supply fiber optic internet. You have to pay like 50eur per apartment, and get your money back in less than 6 months..

Me Gusta

Price paid gladly..

And I think that all the trans-atlantic fiber optic cables pass through scandinavia, so their uber fast internet is also understandable
