that was from one of the chests though, we still didnt finish the raid.
We made a decent effort last week to complete the VoG. I would love to organize another raid for this week to give it another shot. Let me know if you are interested...
Does Saturday work for you guys? We can figure out the best time for everyone here when we have some sign ups. I am up for it any time this Saturday, we can always work different days/times accordingly to every-ones schedules.

around the same time like last friday would be fine, which was 4pm est / 10pm cet, can be a bit earlier or later to.
btw, last time i had some problems with the chat volume, so i had to keep the game soud running on the speakers while i used the headset solely for chat, this is a sub-optimal workaround though.
the problem is that the game has absolutely no audio options where i can separately change the volume of music/effects/chat, and neither does the ps4, it only gives me the option to send either all sounds or only chat to headset and to change the global master volume.
could we try ps4's party chat this time before starting the raid?
in the party chat its atleast possible to adjust the separate volumes in greater detail

so after talking talking to Hoover and snake today about how the public events are currently the fastest way of getting shards, energy and vanguard marks, i realized that there is actually a site that shows predictions on when and where they are going to happen:
i tried it today with the android app, and out of 6 events only 1 didnt appear (probably because i was the only person in that area at the time, and i read that an event is more likely to happen if there are more people around).
the 5 events all happened relatively on time +/- 1 minute.
its definitely far faster than doing strikes, and often there are events starting off within only a few minutes from each other on the same planet. i managed to do 3 of them on mars within less than 15 minutes, got 2 shards and 1 energy.
so if anyone is up for it, we could do some public event hunting today, it would be great if we could get a few more people to 28 this way in preparation for the raid (myself included, need 3 more points to reach it).
Hehehe, I use this once a day to get my nice reward, I don't have such luck as you though, seems they never show up on time... and sometimes not at all

truly an amazing, nerve wrecking experience with an incredible payoff.
the only other times i usually feel such an achievement is after beating a souls game.
the amount of strategy and coordination that went into this is difficult to show in a video, since the split up groups are all doing their own assignments while coordinating with the others.
its something that has to be played on one's own.
