they're locked in a room with some gas that will kill them in 2 hours. Some detective is on the case and his son is in the room too so he obviously wants to solve it more. The jigsaw guy (john or jack ive forgot already ) is on like drips and stuff because he has cancer and that's the reason why he's doing it all........ too see people value their lives and stuff. Anyway it turns out that all the people were framed by the cop (the boys father) and sent to jail at some time or another. i cba typing the rest but it ends with the video stream coming from another house with a pre-recording (like oceans 11 with the 2 safe's) The john/jack guy said that to save his son all he had to do was talk to him.... the cop with abt 30mins to go beats him up and makes him drive to the place though........ <skip a bit> when the timer runs out a safe in the room where the detective + john/jack were opens and the boy is there with an oxygen mask. meanwhile the detective is hunting through the house and goes to the basement with the shower in from saw 1. he gets knocked out and then when he wakes up he's chained up and u see the girl from the first 1 close the door and it says she's gonna continue the legacy. The john/jack guy 'rescued her' (she was an heroin addict) and that's how she knows him and why she was chained in the first 1...... phew that's pretty much it

The main twist was that Amanda was helping Jigsaw the whole time and now she's basically the new Jigsaw. She is gonna take over when Jigsaw dies.

she was helping in the 2nd 1... not the first. i'd call the video cameras not being a live feed and trhe boy being in the safe the whole time a plot twist too

did he really have to kill that black guy to get the number off his back? couldn't he just ask the guy and tell him about the numbers?

I knew Amanda had to either die or have to do something big with the plot. So I wasn't really thinking of the latter and kept expecting her to die.

I also liked how Jigsaw was telling the truth to the cop. If he just followed the rules and talked to him the whole he would see his son. But of course the cop didn't buy it and was tricked by Jigsaw and got screwed at the end.

yea i agree about the beefy guy. was a bit pathetic how he changed like that. I was expecting him not to have a number though because it was jigsaw testing him again.

and when he drops the key

I really dislike it when a script has to lie to people to make its twist, they said that Amanda was there because she had been slitting her wrists fine. I allways thought it was wierd when she was back in it, and my initial thought where "She is in on it too" but then when she told us why she suspected hse was there I figured "Ok"

A great twist would lead you in all kinds of directions but not lie to you about main players, she could have just said "I have no fucking idea why I am here" and then it would have been fine, but they felt the need to lie to the audiance to make the twist, and it kinda spoilt it for me. A great twist you should be able to see coming, or feel stupid when you didnt see it.. they felt the need to lie throughout the film to keep there twist from being found out, so you had no chnace in guessing it.
