Whats that supposed to mean? How its DS if you haven't encountered the alien yet? Are you fighting something else?

When I enter the metro and the game starts loading, it tells me that there is a saving caching error and the game returns me to the main menu. Does anyone else have this problem?

HBAO, standard would just be SSAO. |
in that case I will choose standard. I prefer ssao if and ao at all. mostly ao is useless effect for me. Especially the slow refreshing one

You first encounter with the alien happens during a cutscene and then after that in 1-2 minutes in-game. | Spoiler: | A guy you are with gets killed (cutscene) and then you get on a "train" and as the doors are closing you can see the alien |

What's usenet provider do you use?
I had Giganews last time I used newgroups but I heard after it was crap. I'm pretty sure I saw somone here posted a provider with unlimited download for cheap!

@deadpoetic nowadays generally you have one unlimited account and one block account( backup server). And they all have problems here and there =)
I use $11 astraweb unlim + blocknews block account but I'm not sure if it's the best duo available lol

so sso settings are off, hdao and standard. i dont think standard is ssao but hbao since its all the way to the right and hbao is more demanding

Hmm for some reason i can't pick up a pistol.. I managed to kill 4 guys in the large room ( I couldn't sneak past them) and there was a pistol on the ground but I couldn't pick it up.. What's up with that?

Just FYI, I started at 15/month with them years ago, they switched me over to 11/month and then later 15/2mo even when I botched closing my account, all very fast and they even comped me the days I forfeited when I did that (which was entirely my mistake and I did not ask to get comped!)...excellent service.
