3) AMD FX 6300 6 core, AMD R7 250 1 GB video card Graphics on Medium- smooth gameplay no stuttering and looks great
Point of all of this? Don't listen to the elite graphic whores and high end PC sellers....this game scales fine as long as you don't play below a 64bit dual core.......

Monolith's open world action game Shadow of Mordor has entered the UK chart in second place with the biggest launch for a game based on The Lord of the Rings in the UK.
Sales are split 56 per cent on PlayStation 4, 41 per cent on Xbox One and 3 per cent on PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions launch on 21st November.
Official sales data from Chart-Track shows EA's behemoth FIFA 15 still comfortable in first place despite a 70 per cent drop in sales. Remember, Chart-Track does not include downloads.
Meanwhile, Plaground's racing game Forza Horizon 2 steers into third place, with 73 per cent of sales on Xbox One and 27 per cent on Xbox 360. Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is in at four. Bungie's first-person shooter Destiny is fifth after a 30 per cent drop in sales.
The other new entry to make the top 40 this week is Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes, which made 27th place.
Here's the top 10:
FIFA 15
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Forza Horizon 2
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS
Destiny
Minecraft: PlayStation Edition
Disney Infinity 2.0
Minecraft: Xbox Edition
Call of Duty: Ghosts
The Sims 4
Pretty sure this only counts retail sales and not digital plus Steam from what I know does not give out sales data so the PC sales are probably at least somewhat better than shown, plus this is only for the UK.
So for AA we are stuck with either FXAA or sweetfx right?
Or downsampling.
(Setting resolution scale to either 150 or 200 % )
Is downsamping an actual setting in the in-game options? I must have missed it then, not sure if I would even really be able to use it due to VRAM usage, @ 1080p with all settings maxed (high textures) the game already requires 3GB
I guess 64bit sweetfx it is!

This is all quite dependent on one's definition of smooth.

I think the point is the same as it has always been since hardware acceleration has been introduced: what counts is the GPU, not the CPU. Unless the CPU is total shit you can still play, as long as your GPU is powerful enough.
I have an octa-core i7 on my laptop, but I can only play @medium settings, because the GPU is a mediocre GT750m
There's some AWFUL input lag in this game. Seriously fucked up.
Only time i notice sluggish controls is when some shielded fuck attacks where i have to press the dodge button. Over half the time he doesn't manage to dodge in time, yet blocking is absolutely no problem.

Yeah that's weird, I rarely ever manage to dodge those for some reason.
It's like... counter and dodge have the same prompt, but counter is instant (triggers instantly even during an attack), but dodge is delayed and you can't dodge in the middle of an attack like.
It feels as if it's using a kind of action queue so a dodge just gets queued after your current action, and it what makes controls feel sluggish in other situations, like with stun which work the same way.
I'd really love an instant dodge like dark souls or whatever.
It's a bit frustrating sometimes as it is.
Whenever I get into battle I make it a priority to take out shield guys with the bow at the start of the battle. I can usually take out 3 or 4 with headshots before my focus runs out.
Makes battles with shield guys a lot easier.

Just like any singleplayer game xD I wanted to upgrade for so long and now that i finally can, i changed my mind. Everything except BF4 and Planetside2 is running smooth, gonna wait for 8 cores intel to reach mainstream

I keep getting killed which in turn keeps making my enemies stronger, which in turns makes me die quicker. It's a "cat biting its own tail" scenario. By now I have several that basically cannot be harmed by anything else than special finishers...
The main problem is that whenever you engage one of the "captains/chiefs" dozens of minions show up at the same time, as well as 3-4 other captains from nearby areas... no matter how good you are you are gonna take a hit sooner or later, if only because the battlefield becomes a clusterfuck of enemies and projectiles...

Thanks for the tip, but I never understood the point of cheating to be honest. What's the fun in running around with infinite health or whatever? Might as well just watch a let's play on YT rather than playing the game at that point...
all captains and chiefs have weak points, some bitch that game is too easy, others it's too hard ffs
rushing into the battle like an idiot is never smart, this game believe it or not requires at least some basic strategy

I'll keep trying...

When I met first chief I had to lure him close to barrels and camp fires so I could blast him indirectly with arrows, I was unable to kill him with a sword, when ever I attacked he pushed me away and he was immune to bow attacks. But the tactics worked I even killed 3 captains while trying to kill him that way. Run and fire, try it.

Depends... some of them are immune to stealth/range attacks, so you have to rush them. And as soon as you do 20 other minions arrive and try to gang-rape you from all directions.

Thanks, will try that, if I can get one to stand near them.
