The guy I watched was using a controller, and I don't have a joystick, is it more suited to KB+M or a gamepad? |
HOTAS, I mean HOTAS seriously !
Tons of buttons needed.
EDIT : ie.
 |
I have this joystick. Is this a default profile for the game by chance or was it customized as such? If it was the latter, could I d/l this profile somewhere?

@Mikey5449
I took the pic from this thread : http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=21522
(I am using a custom X55 profile)
Don't seems you can download the profile though.

was just looking at that x55 and it seems to have spring use just like the older x series hotas from them, is this true? What component type are the saitek hotas's now using for monitoring movement.

Probably still not hal sensors then or better, meh damn those spring systems and shoddy movement pots are diabolical and just get shit covered and end up non accurate after a few mnths.

Beh... first i couldnt start the game. When i pressed "Play" it actually asked me if i want to uninstall. When i went to check game files, it asked me the same. Complete uninstall (folders, registry keys) did the trick.
Then i played about an hour. In that hour the game got stuck 3 times, 2 times after warp and 1 time after pressing "Launch" docked at a station. Then i gave up.
Heres the stream, if anyone is bored enough to watch it -> http://www.twitch.tv/panthau/b/575166421
