Goddamn, FINALLY got 22! The level up from 20 -> 22 took me like twice as long as it took to get to 20 in the first place. So annoying to find worthless loot all day everyday. And getting Vanguard ranks is probably the most boring, grindy thing there is. I'm still not there, tired of the same old Strike playlist, I seem the get the Mars one every single time. At least now I can do the 22 weekly. Phew.. Oh yah, found a NIIIIIIIICE legendary armor while playing my Hunter. Oh wait, it's for Warlock. Thanks Bungie!

st00z, have you done the queens wrath bounties? After you complete one of the queens bounties you get a mission which always results in either a legendary helmet or chest piece for your class, would be a nice upgrade for you and boost your light level even further. Can't play tonight unfortunately.
Tomorrow I'll be playing in the morning and hope to get at least 1 legendary to get me to 26.
As of now I'm available on friday evening/night aswell. So count me in.

@hazen To hit level 20 your doing pretty much what you are supposed to, after that is when it get's a little more interesting with gear that has light stats to push you past level 20. You can do patrols, and bounties to start earning marks and rep, along with even more xp. So for the Queen's event thing, I just complete any one of the bounties offered, then a mission is triggered and I finish that and get a guaranteed legendary? How many times can I do that?

Yes, guaranteed legendary, and as many times as you like Smile

Protip: once you get the mission, keep going in and out of it (in orbit) until you get the earth mission to kill rikisis, it takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Yeah, I'm in for friday night but I may be a tad bit late. I'm scheduled to get out of work at 3pm but we often run late ( I got home about 4:30 today ). I have enough marks to replace both my blues with legendaries so level 26+ is no problem, I'm just waiting to see what Xur has this weekend because I also have enough coins for an exotic, and I don't want to buy a legendary if I'm just going to replace it with an exotic.

I still think we did very well for all of us being there the first time.

Thank you all who showed up yesterday, it was a lot of fun, some of you got some nice upgrades, and we had a few good laughs as well Laughing

Also a BIG thank you to Jamin, without him this would have been 100 times more difficult, he was our wise leader!

As for when we continue... I'm not sure, we have until Tuesday morning to finish up before it resets. Today I won't be able to since I will be out all day, tomorrow after 2PM EST would be possible for me, and Monday I am really uncertain of, probably will be home very late.

it was fucking intense and fun, how long did we go on? i think it was ca. 5 hours in one sitting. 5 hours of non-stop intense fighting for survival against high level enemies, with mostly great teamplay and coordination. a unique gameplay experience for me, having to split up in several small teams often, each one taking up a specific task, sometimes even worlds apart from each other. there are many ways to go on about dealing with these challenges, it was definitely alot of fun trying different paths and strategies after the previous ones failed over and over again. looking forward to resuming this epic raid soon, for now i need to dip my sweaty balls in some water.
