Well I've watched a loada films but I just thought i'd comment on SWe3. Well I finally watched it (again not that arsed about it). It was pretty good but I'd still only give it a 7/10. It was a bit lame how palpatine (i think its hium... the sith lord neway) how he became deformed when fightin mace but then he used the same shit against yoda and nothing. The effects were nice sometimes although I think the set design was amazing. erm.... can't really say much else about it, was kinda spoiled by knowing the ending though.

o and on the matter of orlando bloom... I don't dislike him. He's actually funny and likeable in Calcium kid (http://imdb.com/title/tt0330111/) I think you're mostly jealous because he gets all the bitches though Smile ..... and the fact he's english

Put me in a couple of big movies and I can fuck as many chicks as I want a day. I have no problems with the ladies though, I just think he's a poor actor that's all.

Would you label Brad Pitt a pretty boy? I think he is a poor actor overall, but I thought he was good in Troy.. so there ya go...

Banlieue 8/10

Great "brainless" action from Luc B. again. Hopefully Yamakasi is similar.

Madagascar 8/10.

Great casting and hilarious family movie. Pingus were great Smile

Dark Water (us-remake) 8+/10.

Annoying noises, great atmosphere. Gotta check original jap-version, if the ending is different (==better).

Gunna watch the tc of doom Very Happy

EDIT

Doom = Complete was of fuckin time, dumbest, stupidest, pointless movie of the year
I give it a 1/10....I swear, its so retarded...the characters are fuckin retarded, the bitch is SO FUCKIN ANNOYING and there are about a million other things wrong with the movie....I mean, if u played the game, I'd say watch it just for that reason. But in all honestly, its complete shit and the acting is horrible.
They should have saved the money they spent on this movie and donated to hurricane victims or cancer research or something....complete waste of money and thank god I didnt pay to see it in a theatre...I seriously would have demanded my money back, its that bad of a movie....utter and total shit.
Im pissed I sat through the hour and a half or however long it was....Mad

I dont recall seeing a movie as bad as doom...even the movie Powder (remember that one, with the white as a ghost kid and shit) is better than this - fuck, any movie is better than this. I'd rather watch a fuckin Olsen Twins movie...i swear

Taxi Driver (1976) - 7/10 - Solid acting from Mr. De Niro, the movie builds up a "when is it going to be" and when it finally happens you feel dissappointed.

war of the worlds 6/10

Spielberg captured the panic of the war situation perfectly
I know I've been there and throughout the movie i got cold shivers and unpleseant flashbacks

but sadly the end sucked :/

Really you didn't like Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels or Snatch?I happened to have enjoyed both those movies which he directed and would give them both a 7 or 8 outta 10 personally but to each their own

Tae Guk Gi

About the Korean war. Amazing film 8.5/10 if not slightly higher.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386064/

Special effects almost rival Saving Private Ryan.

Shocked It really is time to throw that one in the ol' dvd player Very Happy

Great movie. The war violence in the movie is great. Like the beginning of Saving Private Ryan, only it's for the whole movie. Razz

Yeah, well ... like was said .. Snatch and Lock Stock are great movies.

I've been looking forward to Revolver since early in its production, and was even going to see it at the Toronto Film Festival in Sept. What a disapointment Sad Don't you hate when you really look forward to something and it turns out to be a steaming pile of horse shit?

Revolver 5/10

The actors were fine and the way the films shot is very stylish but I fealt it was ultimately let down by weak dialogue and most of all a poor/uninteresting story.

I agree with "nouseforaname" the film gave me a sore head.

yeah, I'll give it that. It was for the most part well shot, with a lot of the same kind of camera work that was in Snatch and Lock Stock.

One thing I didn't like was the choice of music in the movie they could have put in some good beats and livened the film up a little not that piano/classical shit playing in the background which seemed out of place.

Plus the scene which was shot half manga/anime and half live action reeked of them putting it in the movie just for the sake of it, it added nothing to the scene.

yeah for sure... I actually liked that scene ... but yeah ... didn't really fit with the rest of the movie.

Plus, Vinnie Jones should have been in it Very Happy

Matthew Vaughn worked as producer on both Lock Stock & Snatch. He then went on to direct Layer Cake. Perhaps he was the reason why these movies were good & not Guy Ritchie.
