I would give humpers a day or two to get to know the game better.
However it is absolutely safe to yarr it right now!

Got a bit buried under all the vram/fps discussion. Anyone know?

SO FAR im kinda meh about this nemesis thing... or maybe my expectations were too high?
i was HOPING we could build a story for each of these characters, like whenever i meet them and if they survive, id see some kind of entry into their profile, and it might list things that happened...
i ran into one guy called one-eye who told me i took his eye? i dont recall that at all... now if i had some kind of character note saying that he was an archer i tried to headshot but failed and he ran away, then wow... mind blown... but just saying something random and then making me go 'eh.. ok maybe i scarred you when you were a generic orc an hour ago' doesnt really do anything for me

Damn, it's actually enjoyable. Imagine the fighting system from the Arkham games, combined with some Assassin's Creed mechanics set in Mordor and there you have it. Really encourages stealth, seeing as how it's possible to kill one uruk without stealth and next thing you know you're fighting 50 Uruks and some Captains. Actually had 3 captains on my ass at one time, I died. Oh, and you're not a bullet sponge, or rather, sword sponge.
R7 2700x @4GHz / MSI B450 Tomahawk / beQuiet! Dark Rock 4 / 32GB @3000 MHz / MSI RTX 2060 Gaming Z / Samsung 850 EVO 250GB / Western Digital 1TB / Fractal Design Meshify C Dark / SuperFlower Leadex Gold 650W / DELL whatever 27 inch IPS

stun, slash slash slash slash finisher, stun, slash slash slash finisher, profit?
i actually had 3 captains show up at the same point too. finished one guy off, turn around, another one, killed him, turn around, ANOTHER one, guyz, plz, staaahp! boosted my rune count nicely though
basically the trick to the game is that same that it is in arkham... dont get carried away and fall into the habit of spamming attack... slash slash counter to build up your combo, then use a finisher to thin the horde out, and if you can do a ground finisher, sneak one in... if you can, run to a fire and set us up the bomb, to take out a huge chunk of bastards
so far the biggest problem ive had, is trying to keep guys i want to interrogate til last, because using a controller i find that even when i flick the stick towards another guy, i can sometimes end up instakilling the guy i dont want to :/
but yeah. this game is basically batman with decapitations.

Yes it does use DirectX 11 (And 64-bit.) although I am not sure if it also supports D3D9 as a form of legacy option.

Any comparison screenshots for this Middle.Earth.Shadow.of.Mordor.HD.Texture.Pack.Addon-CODEX ?
For 15GB that must be some high quality textures

game sucks, dont get it. who wants to chop off orc heads in visceral slow-motion blood spurty goodness anyway?
is that better?

Is this a basic combat game or can it be compared to something like Darksiders (puzzling, light exploring)?
