Ended up being even better than I already expected, including the ending Very Happy

Honestly... I didn't mind the ending at all, some guys made it seem like it ruined the whole movie.. but no, was actually pretty good IMO.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For - 6.5/10

Mixed feelings about this movie.

Eva Green steals the show obviously, she has played the femme fatale before, and she's perfect as the Dame.

Other parts are hit or miss.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is good (as usual), and I enjoyed this story. Although pretty pointless in the end Razz
Bruce Willis' appearance as a ghost is pretty stupid and unnecessary.
Marv is overused to the extent that it creates an inconsistency with the timeline.

came out of nowhere for me(after all the delays it totally got off my radar) but was a very enjoyable watch. I agree with what il padrino wrote mostly but still enjoyed it enough to warrant a 8/10 for me

Killers 7,5 / 10

I don't know how to describe this movie. I just finished it and I have mixed feelings about it right now. It's reeeeeaaalllllyyyyy violent. So if you like those asian-gore movies, then this is a movie for you.

It's basically 2 guys killing people for their satisfaction, recording it and uploading it to a page similiar to liveleak.com ...

watch it, if you are bored.

Personally i watched killers only because of "the raid". This movie however bored me to tears and i just had to watch it until the end ... just the type of trainwreck you can't look away from.

Imo.

7,5/10 is a pretty high rating for your description. You describe it more like 5/10 or so Laughing

Her 6/10

Some things I hated, some things I liked. I did have to get over the whole hipster thing tho.
Can't really comment on it since I feel conflicted. The acting was good tho.

The Homesman 6/10

Great acting from both leads, believable world in that time frame. Had some impacting moments, but I wouldn't say it was a great movie. There were dead moments, which help to reflect that time period, but it doesn't make it entertaining.

I enjoyed the movie that's why I gave it a 7,5 / 10. I really like those fucked up asian psycho movies. I just didn't like some scenes that felt kinda...fake and some of the stupid dialogues.

I really liked that movie! Great revenge story. Brutal, but with a point Very Happy

From Kurosaki's description, it seems Killers is just violence porn.

That's a good flick, not sure if I've rated it here but I'd give it a 7.5/10 going by memory

Transformers whatever number 4 was called 5.5/10
Some decent but clumsy action and the cinematography was better then the others but I can barely remember them anyway. Less shitty upclose shakey cam at least.
The transformers move around really weird sometimes imo. Like a really coordinated but drunk toddler or something, I dunno. Better then number 3 I guess?

Horns...

9/10.

Starts off as a black/dark comedy (w/e the term is in english), and kind of changes throughout the movie. Really enjoyed this "trip" from start to end especially since the whole perspective changes.

Sin City - Recut, Unrated, Extended - 7.5/10

I hadn't watched this cut before. The film at the beginning is looking a bit silly (it was one of the first "all greenscreen" movies) but it develops its style pretty quickly and it keeps becoming better and better. Even excellent.

This cut is not much good though. It makes no sense to isolate these stories. The orinal edit is better. And about the new scenes I could identify only two. I'm sure there were more but this means they weren't particularly memorable for me to notice. (Having said that one of those two I identified was REALLY sweet!)

So on the whole you lose more than you gain with this cut.

I'd rate the original cut about a point higher, so ~8.5/10. Damn good flick.

Anyway after this refreshment of my memory I'm ready for the sequel!

47 Ronins - 5/10

Visuals, design and atmosphere are nice at times, but predictable script, engrish (I would rather they spoke japanesse full time than english with bad accent and single japanesse phrases thrown in to make it sound more foreign - hearing them breaking their tongues seriously irritated me) and bad acting ruins whatever good there is about the movie. Keanu fits right in Laughing

Transformers 4 - 4/10

Liked it more than 2nd and 3rd, but that's not saying much. It's full of plot holes and generally idiotic (that's kinda ok, though) but at the very least the stupid and really-not-that-funny jokes are a bit dialed back - compared to previous two movies, I mean. It also gets a bonus point for the hawt Bates Motel chick Razz It's way, way waaaaaay too long tho. I probably would've enjoyed it more if it was a hour shorter - it's not like anything interesting happens most of the time anyway Laughing And what's with the retarded transformer design? A guy with a cigaro? A samurai? Fucking seriously?
