Yeah, fearwhatnow's criticism is actually on point, sadly online matches are a football caricature, they don't resemble the original sport anymore if we exclude the basics.
ivan1real wrote: | The more I play the worse it gets, I regularly get double digit scores in games. Midfield is almost non existent, might as well play with 4 defenders and 6 attackers. |
I'm starting to know that feel™ too.
I had to promptly change Juve's default 3-5-2 into a 4-3-3, because the five midfielders were basically just running like headless chickens, chasing people and through balls (and punctually failing at doing that). Not only pressing is now nonexistent, but ye ol' jockey button has been toned down so that stopping the hundreds of fast counterattacks per match is a mission impossible at times.
At least we have Next Gen GKs this time around!

No sorry, FUT gameplay is different, try playing a normal online frendly and set the game speed to fast. Don't you get higher results in FUT as well? For those looking for reality, it's probably the mode, that's the away from it the farthest.

Enlighten us then, good sir, what kind of quality posts are we missing?

One hopes every year that PES might be that, but it has failed for a while now. This, unfortunately, is in large part due to the completely disgusting monopoly that EA has on licenses. PES might have the gameplay, but many people don't really take it seriously due to a lack of licenses. |
Hard to say that, when Konami is on the verge of adding MyClub to the series, which is basically a rip off of the Ultimate Team, wouldn't you say?

it's not about his opinion. it's about him being stucked up like a bitch. "oh u play without manual controls? well then u r not worth it to play a real match of football. here try my settings and play with manual controls, then u r a real pro."
and fut this year is the same like online seasons. it wasn't last year but this year it's the same.

u can play fut without spending any money. it's not like u have to buy anything.
u can make very good profit every day while trading ur stuff.
oh wow people on world of warcraft sell stuff on a auction house so they can buy some new stuff. shame on them. let me guess everyone there buys gold too?

I guess some people want to play a reasonably realistic game of football, whilst it seems the current focus is making a cash printing machine based on a glorified card game. Can't say I understand the interest in FUT myself, but each to their own.

If I were to buy an xbox one controller and install the drivers for it for it to work on the PC, would the controls be the exact same on the PC as if you were playing it on the xbox one?

Having a blast offline with Fidel's cl.ini and my sliders. A nearly broken game has turned to a sim footie experience with just a text file! It's unbelievable. We finally have a decent football videogame men!

This whole FUT thing is a sham tbh. Firstly I refuse to buy any FIFA points to get an advantage in this game as i have already shelled out for the game itself. Some have been playing for a week already (including myself). What about those people that didn't start playing until Friday? They are at a disadvantage already as others have been busy buying up x amount of each commodity and controlling the market. I honestly can't be bothered to spend time trawling through bidding and counter bidding on players as I have much better things to do. When I did actually start to play an off line tournament I won 18-0 without really even trying, which is not fun at all. I'll stick to career mode as FUT really is not for me.

Spend some time to play offline matches to build decent team and then play online.
I made my first Serie A team and played two matches. Lost to BPL team (but of course fucking imba BPL cunts). And made a draw were i should've won, but im still new to online play and have to get some experience.

I second Radu. His defensive work-rate is excellent and since crossing-heading doesn't work, I don't see any reason why full backs should go all the way up and attack.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Can you actually use the cl.ini whilst being connected to Origin? I tried just with your sliders and it seemed ridiculously slow.

Ofc you can. If you find the speed too slow just increase the sprint speed to a value higher than mine (>30). It is simple. You don't have to mess with the other sliders. At 30 though the speed is pretty accurate. Maybe a tad slow. I think 35 will do the job for you.

Ah ok, was just in the mod thread someone had said to 'of course' put Origin in offline mode first, assumed it must overwrite the ini if you do it while online or something.

From Fidel:
"You can use gp evo AI for career mode, and origin online to update rosters at career startup.
According to the real season I suggest to close tranfers at career startup from options, wait the winter market (I prefer this way in order to start a career according to the real).
You can not use gp evo AI for online mode matches (you can play an online match agaist a friend only if the two players have the same gp evo AI installed).
To play online match you must restart the game without gp evo enabled.
At end of gp evo career mode match, save career, exit fifa.
Rename cl.ini in cl.ini.bk
Restart fifa and play online games (ping pong matches, I've tryed out, to fast online games, slider's are ovewrited in online games). When you want to play/continue your career mode re-apply gp evo"

You might want to wait for the ver2.0 of the ini which will be released tonight. Fidel found 2 new coded lines by EA in the fifa15.exe - > ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY and ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY_INCREASE_DIFFICULTY
He's testing now the gameplay with the above lines disabled.
