I was wondering why they never sent us keys for the original game (it was a reward offered to backers). Turns out, they were waiting to sent us keys for this version of the original game instead.
I'm quite happy with this.
Brand New in-house English script: For the first time ever, the game has cast off the major issue that had previously disallowed international audiences from accessing it.
Brand New Voice-overs
New content: A certain amount of text that had previously been cut from the international version of the game have now been restored
Updated textures and higher resolutions support.
New visual effects.
Newly Included Fan-Made Polish translation: thanks to the hard work and generosity of Jakub Derziak & Aldona Derdziak
EDIT: This is a re-release of the original game with some improvements, it is not the Kickstarter project which is still in development as a full remake.
I agree, it's a decent re-release. The videos have stayed in 4:3 (with the original quality), but the rest has received a proper widescreen treatment, with FOV slider, various options and so on. I don't know how the remake will look like, but the original is fine even today in my opinion.
