Divergent 3/10. The first 2/3 was somehow watchable but the last half hour was terrible. Rolling Eyes Btw, Shailene Woodley is a good fapping material. Cool Face

I second that motion, The Mist was a fucking fantastic movie. Had my wife watch it a while back, and she hated the ending Laughing

Still.... awesome movie.

This movie reminds me of another masterpiece, John Carpenter's The Fog.

Transformers: Age of Extinction - 3/10

Just awful. I mean Wahlberg as a scientist Laughing where was Pamela Anderson as a brain surgeon, I didn't buy it and I didn't buy that random looking texas chick being his daughter. I like Mark but they should have changed the part to match the casting, like he's a former football or baseball player, he didn't sound like a geek, to many angry outbursts.

CGI pretty good, but where is the rest, story, believable actors, only CGI-bay and explosions-bay.

Must of been fun for the actors, looking at that green screen most of the time.

falcon rising

holy shit...

spoiler.... you wont believe this shit...

 Spoiler:

but yeah... the film... on the one hand, the budget clearly hurt the film. The dialog was bad, and some of the action scenes looked a little... uh... unrefined...

but on the OTHER, much bigger hand... mother fucking Michael Jai White AND Lateef Crowder, holy shit... those two are great, if only this film had a better budget and script, there was enough GOOD shit in this movie to have elevated to fuck-yeah! territory, especially with those 2 in the mix.

the way it ended though... one could be forgiven for thinking it was a TV pilot... in fact everything else would make a lot of sense (especially the budget) - the way it ended made it the PERFECT set up for a tv show, and oh man... an MJW tv show where he goes around the place beating the shit out of people, would be the most awesome thing ever.... but more likely im guessing they're expecting to STV sequel the hell out of this. pity. i want my MJW tv show Sad

so yeah 5.5/10

What does that even supposed to mean???!

So like inventors are better people than others? "You see that guy? At least we know for sure he has a conscience because he is an inventor!"

Have you guys ever seen Pandorum?

It get's a little cheesy later in the movie, but it's a pretty solid flick overall if your into this sort of thing. Reminds me a lot of Dead Space.

Yup, I still bitch and whine now and then because we aren't getting a sequel. Especially when you look at what gets more than a sequel Crying or Very sad

Edit: Well fuck that... he actually had a kickstarter that failed. www.kickstarter.com/projects/1253988732/somnio Did not hear a peep about it.

Edge of Tomorrow - 8/10

Competently scripted, acted and directed the movie is certainly an entertaining summer blockbuster. However it's not the revelation some claim it to be. Nor does it have to be.

At least it redeems Cruise after the catastrophe that was Oblivion. edit: Maybe I'm too harsh Oblivion was ok, but ultimately forgettable.

Wish we had more like this, sunshine and event horizon are the other two that come to mind, garus mentioned them up above.

Sunshine, now that's movie that went to shit when the 'monster' appears. Very Happy

The problem with Pandorum is, that it could've been much more.

We need more sci-fi, but at the same time we need more quality sci-fi. Bad ones lead to flops and studios become afraid investing in more sci-fi Sad

Moon and Sunshine were perfect. Event Horizon was entertaining and Pandorum was OK. Remember the Disney Movie The Black Hole? THAT was fucking awesome... as a 6 year old I almost shat my pants Very Happy I'm not sure if it is still that good though. IMDB has it at a very low score and I don't want to spoil my fond memories with grown up thoughts about it Sad
